Not the fanciest seating but they make it up with their homely vibe and wonderful atmosphere! Not to mention all the options they provide at concessions! Hard to beat this place.!.

We love the Pix Theatre in DT Albany. Weve been going their for years & appreciate how clean its kept. Have gotton to know the owners, Rod & Denise. They show a variety of movies & are open now several days a week. Good drinks, treats, fantastic/puffy popcorn & specialty chocolates avail.

The Pix is a one-of-a-kind local gem. Comfortable, nostalgic, classic atmosphere. Popcorn and other snacks that bolster the experience, and owners that care deeply about their local community by hosting special releases, new release movies, and awesome classics (My favorite was watching Three Amigos to celebrate the release of a new local Mexican style beer.) The Pix is one of the best and unique features of the historic downtown community.

The Pix Theatre is the anchor of downtown Albany. Without their presense, I seriously doubt we would have experienced the regrowth and revitalization of the area.But even discounting their tremendous efforts in the community, its just a darn fun place to be. They have a great mix of new movies as well as older films (including regular viewings of many cult classics). The one room cinema manages to hold on to its vintage appeal without feeling old.In addition, they have fantastic food options, drinks (both soft and adult), popcorn, and a selection of chocolates and other candies. This, combined with their regular date nights and events makes Pix something to which all other theatres should aspire.

Awesome movie theater. Fist time in and I couldnt stop looking at everything there. Way cheaper than a regular theater with way more class and walk-in entertainment. Great food whaaaaat better than just your average theater. Couches and seats in theater. Perfect serves. Spot on. Saw frozen two. Im Glade I watched it here than anywhere else and now Ill have a forever memory of the greatest movie in 2019 and a history of a great movie. Couldnt be more pleased. 10 stars not 5

The Pix is such a special little movie theater. We would rather see the same movie there twice than go anywhere else. They are simply the best and the food is amazing!

I love this theater. If has every concession you can imagine, comfortable seats in the back, the staff is always friendly, its very clean and quaint. I love the decor as well, even if you dont watch a movie its worth popping in to see all the movie memorabilia but the prices are so reasonable why wouldnt you stay?

Went here on a whim to see Jo Jo Rabbit, this isnt a review of the movie, although it was wonderful, but on the theaters decor, service, and comfortableness.The decor is great, very unique and full of character. It is nothing like a traditional brightly light dime a dozen cinemas. Theres a lived in feeling that the owners created that I loved.The menu is vast and theres a lot to take in but so far everything is good. The service is great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. There are some couches to sit on while waiting and enough decor to keep anyone occupied if they decide to look around.The only downside was the seating. The seats did provide a glimpse of the past, heads in front become a part of the silver screen, its unwelcome but not too off-putting. Still well worth checking out.Say Josh sent ya to get a free complimentary mint at the end of the movie (while supplies last). They do actually give out free mints at the end of the film at least when I went.

Awesome decor just for the right environment theme. Everyone from people to the employees are plain hypnotized nice. (said that when i first came to Oregon) Food is like I never left home yummy

The chairs arent the most comfortable, but the food is good, the folks that work there are very polite and the price is cheaper than Regal in town. My wife and I go here fairly often and always have a good time. There is a fair amount of parking across the street.

Fun little theater. They really go out of there way for the customers. Your food is brought to you in the theater seating area and they offer you a mint on your way out. Love it!

Went for the second time and forgot to go early because it’s such a cool place! There on a Tuesday for date night and the customer service is unbelievable. We were made to feel like we were the only ones there and that someone owed me a favor or something. I felt like a regular. Great picture and sound, great service, hard to beat.

Been in Albany for over 4.5 years and never been to this theater until today. What an amazing place!After you get over the shock of paying $8 for a ticket which is lower than typical matinee prices at other larger theaters, the food and drinks were very reasonable.The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Not your typical movie theater as they only have one screen but it was such a great experience, I had to write a review.A jewel in Albany downtown!

Fantastic 1 show movie house that is set in an old opera style venue! They have regular live shows of all varieties as well. This is a CANT MISS gem in Hilo town.

Absolutely love this theater! I go every chance I get. They have good food at reasonable prices; the owners are really nice; and they do lots of special events and screenings of my favorite movies (like Die Hard at Christmas).

An affordable movie theatre, that serves popcorn, soft drinks, alcohol, and even cooked foods. The theater only plays one movie and changes it every week or two, but I think that the 6$ movie tickets make up for that. The theater was large consisting of about 20 rows of seats or more. And when exiting the theatre the employees hand out mints to get that buttery popcorn flavour out of your mouth. This is now officially my favorite theatre, and I will most definitely be going back.

An excellent single screen theater for a date or family. The lobby is very relaxing so feel free to show up early to your movie and play some games or admire the old movie memorabilia. The prices here for movies and for their food are very affordable. The nachos left something to be desired though... like everything.

Went to their Oscar night and had so much fun. This is the best place in town to go for dinner and a movie, all in one place. You will feel right at home, yet at the same time, have a great night out. And it is not that expensive. Compared to other theaters, their treats and offerings are a bargain and far superior. Try the buttered popcorn, with real butter at far less than the regular movie theater price. They always have the best movies too! This is the first place to check for a good movie and the Pix is a real Albany treasure.

Pix may not be the most fancy theater, but no other theater in Albany or Corvallis comes close to the friendly people and fantastic food (that is priced same as a restraunt). Cant go wrong spending time at Pix.

I would recommend this small theater over any other cinema. It has an old time feel. The prices are much lower than other places and you have great options/prices for concessions. The staff is always upbeat and enjoyable to interact with.

Best place in town to catch a movie. The popcorn is the best, concession prices are very fair and they have great variety. My favorite spot to see movies. One day the wife and I will find some kid free time for a date table with an adult drink....(one can dream) absolutely worth a visit.

We LOVE this theatre, located in a very popular spot in downtown Albany, easy walking distance from a number of bars and restaurants. The lobby is the best in the area, fun games, art, good snacks and beer. Our most recent show was an anniversary showing of Pulp Fiction, it was amazing. We will always check the Pix before settling for the larger theaters, good price too!

I like their choice of movies, and they have a nice interior with interesting decor and unique food choices. If you order food before the movie (like some pizza), a staff member will bring it to your seat. As you exit, everyone is offered a mint at the door. Very nice!

Really neat theater with an awesome ambience and pretty good food. They even give you these trays that clip on to the seats so you can stuff your face without worrying about difficult tasks like holding a plate and watching a screen at the same time. Its great. Id for sure recommend this place if theyre showing anything even half way decent. At least go once to check it out. If you dont like it... then you can just be sad about it I guess.

This place is SO COOL!!!! One movie theatre and the history of it is really unique. Wont give away anymore details as you HAVE to see it for yourself. Its in the shopping district and I can tell you that the sandwich place right by it has the softest bread weve EVER eaten, called Big Town Hero, try it too.

Classic movie theater feel. Low prices. Great for catching that movie you missed in the big theaters that hasnt come out on video yet. Good food options, burgers and other real foods. Definitely worth the experience!

We came for the free showing of It’s a Wonderful Life back in December, got food, and had a lovely experience! Can’t wait to go back. Really fun movie memorabilia all around. Cool owner.Make sure you check the movie times beforehand and plan accordingly, as they do not have dozens of showings every day like the average movie theatre! But I’d highly recommend it for a date and make sure you get food there! Apple pie in a mug is a classic.

Sometimes its best not to leave a review because you dont want to say anything.Well, why wouldnt I want to say anything you must be asking? Because if I tell you this place is an amazing theater with fair prices and cheap ticket prices you might want to find out more;If I tell you they serve beer and or wine, have various food options which you can eat before the show or you can take it to your seat in the theater your attention will focus.And if I tell you that they actually pipe in the movies audio into the bathrooms during the show so you minimize the amount of information left out of due to bathroom matters.So, now your curiosity is wondering why then do I not want to say such good things? Its because I am selfish, I love going here and having 85% of the theater to myself. To have no lines and to have all the seating options available as possible. But that isnt fair to the hard working, kind staff that work here. Never have I had a bad experience, or have I not been showered in a friendly smile by the employees.This theater will ruin the way you feel the movie theater experience should be. Everywhere else is just a movie on a screen.

They even have dinner/date night packages if you want to go the extra mile. Always like to check and see if the movie I want to see is playing at the Pix before going to a larger theater. This is literally the best movie theater Ive ever been too. So much so that I wont go anywhere else. I love the people who work there. Their food is amazing. Their popcorn is the only movie theater popcorn that I can eat and not get sick. They have a back row of comfy chairs to sit and watch the movie. A disco ball lights up at the end of the movie. Definitely the kind of independent movie theater experience anyone could want.

Fun experience for a really great cost. You can get GOOD beer to enjoy with your movie, and it isnt going to cost you an arm and leg. There movie selection is not the same as the Regal in town because it is only a 1-theater theatre, so look on their website to see what is coming.
