Nice clean play area. Parkinglot was clean. Restrooms were exceptionally well maintained. Would recommend Sears park to anyone

Good place just lots of stray dogs and people dont know how to put their dogs on leashes as well as pick up their trash. Overall Nice place

The water slides are great fun for kids to play in for hours on end, just make sure to apply more sunscreen regularly during these hot summer months! Forgot to do that this last time while having fun with my two boys, and we all burned a bit. But I guess that just goes to show how much fun you have at this park, because we definitely lost track of time.

I come here on my days off for a walk with my boys. The park is always clean and so refreshing. Everyone there is so nice and I always see the city crew working hard to keep the park beautiful and pleasant.

We loved it for a get away trip

Sears Park is most beautiful! The walking route is good for any level of fitness. There are shaded areas with benches where you can rest. I especially know the shade is good over these benches in the morning. I would like to see another bathroom area. Also, there is a plank that is loose near Sears Park main building. It has wood planks like large bridge. It is a mini bridge. It needs to be corrected before someone gets hurt.

Fabulous! Best splash pad weve ever seen! Slides. Some shade n seating. Wish we had one this nice close to home. Probably one of the nicest places we visited in Abilene!

I like this place because of the water park. Its very fun, and everyone keeps to themselves. People are kind and kids are always there to play. I recommend for a hot summer day in Abilene

It was a Beautiful Day today.. All the kids were playing at the Splash Pad.. The Atmosphere was Great! People were BBQN! Over All.. We had a great time! Happy Fathers Day All!

Usually muddy around the splash pad. There is very little shade available around the pad, but further away there is pavilions. Most of the time they are reserved for parties so be aware. The mens restroom is usually trashed by the kids with mud and sand and urine. Needs some clean up, and parents to monitor their children.

My sister and my neices and I love going to the splash pad its also great for our dog and cat they love it there. Its also clean for the most part.

Its very crowded and some people dont watch their kids, so injuries do occur quite a bit. Other than that its a fun thing to do with the kiddos for free.

I love that park I was raised around Sears park n so was my girl n now my grandkids

My boys had a blast and it was easier to keep up with all 3 since the splash pad was small but it was perfect! Even had covered picnic tables

What a great time we had. Too windy but such a fun place to go! This was our first time and my grandson, 3, had a really good time. So glad theres things for the littles who havent seen much water since birth! The area is very nice and clean, restrooms too, and lots of pic nic tables if you wanted to celebrate a birthday theres plenty of room in the shade! There is no food or drinks sold here, and the entry is free. The atmosphere is lovely! We will return!

Nice park open and big

Very neat splash pad. Problem is too many older kids there without adult supervision. So its a little hard on the young kids, they get pushed back in line of slide and cant enjoy rhe park.

Awesome water park summer days fun for all

Park hours are generous at 5a-midnight. Has ample shade and several small covered picnic tables and large pavillion. Has several cooking grills. Has Large figure eight paved bike/pedestrian pathway, with a nice bridge over Catclaw Creek as the center of the 8. Contained within one of the loops, is an ecologically friendly water feature. It is designed primarily for toddlers-adolescents but serves an adult well, as a cool treat after strenuous exercise. Although, I was sure I felt the wary eyes and tense body language of many mothers as I briefly sought respite in the sprinkle. A gnarly bearded man does not equate perp. It indicates nothing but a person who, like all others, needs cool water in the blazing heat, but I digress. Water flows only when activated by touching an ideogram atop a small stanchion; an act sure to stimulate the magical thinking of children. This is another of many evidences, of a progressive and compassionate vein of leadership within this lovely town.

Went to Adventure Cove. Had a blast!! Would go again

Walking the track and well lit

There is a new splash pad (as of August 17, 2018) at the park, with waterslides (small and safe; its not a pool) and sprinkler apparatus. The overhead bucket also soaks participants and the water sometimes reaches the onlookers. The splash pad looks great and should be a real asset to the community. Theres also a community center and several spots facilities at the park.

Good place for the family and friends to see everybody at and have some food on the grill...

I park under a tree and eat breakfast or lunch. Its quite, nobody bothers you.

Did not feel safe at this park at all. Lots of people Just hanging out in their cars. One man approached me wanting money before we even tried crossing the street to play. Needless to say, we went to another park to play and wont be returning!

Ok park, sure dont need the mentally handicapped dude welcoming people to the splash pad, then dropping a turd out on the sidewalk. Im not joking.

Definatly one of the better parks in town, a nice gym and family center, excellent walking trail and the park is somewhat scenic in comparison to other Abilene city parks.

I went to the splash pad there was a bunch of people and they keept pushing us and my sister almost fell off of the slide
