Great trails, plenty of different ways to go. Make sure you are ready for some climbing. Plenty of technical portions. Jumps roots rock clubs twisty trails. Something for everyone. You must be skilled if you are riding a hardtail, not for the weak.
Good spot for some light hiking, mountain biking, or trail running. Never too busy, but has enough people that you are not the only ones on the trails. The trails for the most part are very easy to follow and clearly marked.
If you wanna be ALONE with nature this is the place to do it! Paths are unlit and unpaved so try not to go after 5 PM. Great workout if you have a mountain bike or just want a challenging hike. Can take up to 2 hours to navigate!
The family enjoyed the walk along the trails. Good place for mountain biking.
Richie and a young lady with a bun on her head, are from the concession stand, were so polite and friendly! Food was good. Park is clean and we enjoyed ourselves will return again.
Clean pool, COVID compliance excellent. Wonderful big graded depth pool for little kids. I had never seen one that bigDiligent lifeguards
Today, I had went to spring ridge pool with my brother and my friend, and we went to practice swimming, and in one separate part of our time there, there was this one kind lifeguard who had gave us a warning to be careful on the deep end until we had learned to swim. So later on after that, I had learned to swim. From there, I had asked my brother if he can swim with me across the pool, he accepts and so as we are swimming across, he makes it to the other side and as I’m swimming, nearly at the other side already, I started getting tired of pushing, so I started failing the swim and drowning. As I’m struggling in the water, I’m calling out for help from the lifeguard that’s sitting literal feet away from where I was struggling, and he does absolutely nothing to help. He just stared at me, and also my brother who was calling out for help. My brother and some random guy, had to pull me out themselves, I’m very thankful to have come out of that alive, but that lifeguard really could’ve done his job. If anyone has had an issue similar with a lifeguard there, please be open.
We love coming this pool my daughter enjoys jumping and swimming in the 6ft area.... life guards are always looking out and doing their jobs.
Good spot for some light hiking, mountain biking, or trail running.
Some trail are fun but there are no berms which forces you to slow down on every turn and it lacks jumps and some trails force you to get of your bike but nonetheless it is still fun
Social Distancing was easy cause it wasnt over crowded. They had a contact tracing sheet just in case anything goes down.
Social distance not enforced.I purchased $18.00 worth of food from the concession stand, they wanted to charge me $3.00 for a cup of ice. I already paid $2.00 for a can of soda. SMH!!!!
If you like to do MTB there are some good trails in there I love it
Super clean and great for families. Everyone was respecting social distancing. The staff were constantly cleaning areas that were high traffic.
Great pool and picnic area. The sprinkler and kiddie section is closed due to Covid19. Theres 2 sessions: morning and evening at half capacity.
Beautiful park with trails to walk our pups.
3 pools to accommodate myself & the family. Very chill atmosphere. Going back soon
Awesome that its back open reminds me of the summers of my youth
Great place..pool was super clean and had plenty of lifeguards. Well worth it.
I’ve been to this poolOnce 2weeks away and I’m headed back today Clean and stuff was respectful

Great pool, even with covid-safe guidelines.
Nice place to relax. Play with the kids.
Had such a wonderful time! Fell in love with it
Beautiful place for families, picnic, and even a pool.
Great park for Mountain biking.
Gorgeous! Would love to do a full hike on my own. Dont bring a toddler for this hike
Vacanicimo sprin ridge park
Great mountain biking trails, big variety. You should have at least some experience though, like small flat dirt trails.
Good spot to rest and get a quick bite to eat
Fun mountain bike trails
Nice park. Id have to see more of it on a longer visit at another time.
Great park of Westchester county with plenty of parking and space to ride a your mountain bikes bird watching and hiking if your into those kind of things, the park also provides grills for the family get together BBQs, there is also a play ground close by the picnic and grill area but the pool there is only for Westchester county residents
Nice biking trail network of decently marked loop trails that you can combine to make quite an epic ride. Trails are flowy with tech features thrown in to keep it fun. Quite a few options for drops and jumps and some extremely technical stuff that can be avoided easily. Great ride, will be back!
I recently went there for the 1st time with my family & we had a great experience.
This review is about Sprain Ridge Park as a place to hike, not the pool or sports/picnic facilities. The park occupies a moderately rugged and rocky spine running North-South between the NY Thruway and the Sprain Brook Parkway. It is crisscrossed with trails designed for mountain biking, but these trails are also good for hiking. The up and down nature of the terrain differentiates the park from the better known but flatter trails like the County Trailways and the OCA. The mountain biking layout with numerous turns and switchbacks means that the uphill portions tend to be easier than typical trails meant for walkers, i.e. not that much straight up the hill. As a result these trails are great if you want to burn some calories but dont want to endure long uphill slogs. Youll get some nice views from the ridge top, and most of the trails are well shaded, making it a pleasant place to be on hotter sunny days. There is ample parking and trailheads are located on the lot edges.I gave it one less star as only some of the main trails are clearly marked.
Another great hiking trails near NYC. I recommend you park your car in Picnic Area 1 & 4 since you can cover most of the trails from there.I stopped by Stone Ridge Park after finishing watching the baseball game, so it was kinda late when I got there. Keep in mind that the park closes at 7pm in April & May. I got there around 5, so I had like 1 hour and 45 minutes to hike.So I started from Erics over the Log trail and kept hiking south past the stone bridge to Thompson trail -- it started getting strenuous from there. I then took a shortcut to South Loop trail and started hiking up north to Otter Ramble trail back to the parking lot.
This is such a beautiful place to visit. It is absolutely beautiful and we had an excellent visit. Stunning photos
I love the food.

I then took a shortcut to South Loop trail and started hiking up north to Otter Ramble trail back to the parking lot.Since most of the trails are for mountain bikes, paths are not properly marked at all. So if you think youre lost, just keep looking for I-87 or Sprain Parkway which are on either side of the park and go from there. Have fun hiking!
This park has improved a lot over the years. The new BBQ pit, benches, play area, and fields make this a great park for the area. Only minus one star for not keeping up the trails as they should. The trails themselves are a beautiful U loop through the woods across wooden planks and across streams. A nice easy trail to dip into for a 30 min walk.
Enjoyed our hike, though the paths are geared a bit more for riding than being on foot. A little challenging to follow the trails in late autumn with all the leaf cover, especially as the trails tend to loop around in spots, but it is a nice woodsy walk tucked in the midst of things.
Beautiful pool, clean facilities, wonderful time
Great pool. Very clean!
Peaceful park, quite environment better than most other parks I have been to. Nice pool side and good for family and Children. Though with close monitoring of your kids. Its good for riding and walking as well. You can enjoy yourself after you get your ticket.
Great place to grill, large picnics areas to accommodate small to large groups. Hikers and bikers would have a ball here, its massive! Playground is small but nice and modern. Lots of parking. Child pool area seems amazing, cant wait to check that part out during the summer. Lots of exotic looking birds and scenery for great pictures.
Its never a Strain to find parking here...see what I did there?
A great place, just make sure to go during good weather. It is impossible to find such a place in the city, so its definitely worth the drive up there.
Beautiful Saturday fall morning to enjoy nature and have my coffee and breakfast. Grounds were well keep and clean. Kids playing baseball was great to see...check it out!!!
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME PARK! LOCALS WERE GREAT AS WELL! I Cant wait to go back!#SnotBombsSkateboarding
Cute park with a cool trail.
Well run, nice greens enjoyable course
Loved the poolsLarge area
It was a great visit i will for sure visit again
Pool is clean. Graduate gets up to 4ft deep. Lots of lounging space in Grass or on concrete. Kiddie section separate from pool. Changing rooms are like new! And a LOT of space. Only $5 for Park pass holder. Only cost my man and I $9 to go to this section. The rest of the trails and picnic areas are free. White trail at beginning is about 45 minutes walking although usually used for bikes. Good interval up and downs workout.
Great get away with kids
It was off due to corona. :(
It was a shootout today. Horrible experience.
Too congested! Too many people.
This park is a hidden gem. Not a lot of sitting area but if you like outdoor activities this is the place. You can mountain bike, hike and run. They even have a brand new outdoor pool.
Nice place to enjoy the summer
Nice park. Opened field wish they had a sprinkler for the kids at least. Free parking. No grilling. They have security making sure everyone safe
A nice chunky/techy MTB spot, lots of rocks to play and roll on
Good
Apsolutely fantastic system of mtb trails! Well maintained and marked.
Decent trails. Not really well maintained but not to horrible. Worth going to in a pinch but not my go to place to Mountain bike
Awesome trail! A mink actually ran past me only 10 ft away!
Very interesting, nice space to eat very nice Riverbank
Great park, ample parking, great for mountain biking and other hobby use. Picturesque and easy to get to.
Nice place to go with friends!
Great course & restaurant area
Dirty... Only came since all the others were closed due to the hurricane...
Lots of fun for the kids.
Awesome MTB trails. A little bit of everything for everyone, whether youre a beginner or a full sender looking to hit your next road gap.
Probably the best mountain bike park in Westchester County. Technical sections with rollers and drops.
Very nice people and clean and bathrooms too will come again
Wow...It is beautiful!! A new gigantic lap pool. Not open in the morning? 11 - 6:30pm! Why? Need 6:00am!!@ Fees each day? What!!!! Food concession. Cash only! Reasonable. They need lifeguards. Great family place in Yonkers. It is opposite the Saint Andrews Golf Country Club. When the pool was open, this place was rockn. Trail for bikes. Walking. Family barbecues are allowed. Peaceful, quiet setting for everyone. I grew up here and it has free parking. Call the number to obtain specific information needed and to book events. It is a beautiful setting. Bugs on muggy days. Closes at dusk. Enjoy this season everyone. If you havent done yet, go and explore. Jenna is a sweetheart!
This is a good park if you’re in the area lots to do
