Spent many sunsets overlooking the Hudson river perched in the pines amongst the sculpture garden. Fascinating that Boyce Thompson named the mansion Alder Manor, after his original home in Alder Gultch, Montana. He was a millionaire in 1906, at the age of 40. He developed the Boyce Thompson arboretum in Superior Arizona, also acquiring the Magma mine in Superior. A stellar example of architecture along the Hudson river.
Super creepy cool spot for any media project.
Phenomenal space if you want lead poisoning or mesothelioma from all of the asbestos!
