Great park! Fenced in which is amazing!Has padded flooring, younger and older kid friendly.

Pocahontas Park is a delightful in town public facility. The play area has the rubber ground to minimize injuries of playful youths. There are several shaded spots to sit and plenty of trees. There is also a bathroom facility. Also at the park are 2 tennis courts that were converted and resurfaced into 8 pickle ball courts. Shuffle board also exists as well as a historic citrus building called the Heritage Center. You can park there and walk the whole scenic and historic “Main Street” 14th ave.

The city needs to update the playground equipment. It is a lovely spot but the some of equipment is in need of replacement. The pergola is rusty.

Nice playground surrounded by fence, gazebos & pickle ball courts. Short walking distance to many businesses & restaurants. Lots of homeless tho so watch your babies. Next door to train museum.

There are a growing number of homeless people gathering close to this park. I wish I could help them, but its really uncomfortable seeing them there while your children play.

It is in a great location, with safe area and pieces of equipment to play on. Lots on area to run.

Great park downtown Vero Beach. Local shops to shop at downtown & restaurants. It’s gated and “padded” Park. Safe for children. Sometimes though you’ll see homeless bystanders, but they are outside the park, and I haven’t seen them bother anyone. Highly recommended park!

Lovely tree shaded park area with benches in the middle of Vero Beach downtown area, surrounded by boutique shops and unusual restaurants, when they open after Covid-19

It was nice to sit under the oak trees and eat a couple of slices from Pizza Mia. It was so relaxing to just watch the world go by. Im going to make two slices at the park my new Friday ritual.

Played a shuttle board tournament there. It was a really nice park. Clean and well kept.

Pocahontas Park is a nice little home-town feel type of park located in the middle of Downtown Vero Beach where bench-seating areas are situated along 14th Avenue.Parking is available all around the perimeter of Pocahontas Park, but the main parking area is conveniently located at the north entrance where restroom facilities are located adjacent to the childrens play area.Kids enjoy this elaborate play area, which is coated with a rubber surface for the prevention of potential injury, and which is equipped with swings, a slide, and other structures on which kids can play and have fun, while parents relax in comfortable view of their kids on bench-seats that are provided.Also, tennis and pickleball courts are available during park hours in a screened-in atmosphere for privacy and personal enjoyment.And if shuffleboard is your type of entertainment, theres also a shuffleboard court for entertainment of all ages!Park Hours are 7am-10pm Every Day.

Great place to bring the kids. The city has done a good job keeping it clean and safe for everyone. You will see the city’s homeless around but a good police presence keeps the area safe for all. There is a lot of equipment for kids to play on and benches for grownups to relax in the shade.

Nice small clean park for children to play. Ages for playground equipment 1 to 7 years old. Public restrooms and benches in the shade available. I saw one covered pavilion for small parties.

I just love this park so much and I had my two-year-old birthday there I love how the bathrooms are so close and how its so much fun for my child shes almost to theres a lot of cool moms and dads there and this setup is really adorable way to go

Took my granddaughter (3)& she enjoyed herself to run around also was able to bring her bike to ride in the park.

My kids love this park and theyre open late. Always clean and usually not overcrowded, plus they have bathrooms on-site.

Its a safe place to take your kids, my grandchildren love to go there, but it sure needs cleaning up.

They park can use an update, a fresh coat of paint and some safety measures.

PickleU is the best Pickleball club around. This is the best place to play on the treasure coast.

This park does have a gate all the way around it but you have to park right on the side of a busy street and its not really a park for very little kids

An older park, but good size.

This park is gated around the play area. The play equipment can be enjoyed my toddlers through pre-teens. Never an issue with parking.

Fun for pickleball

My childhood playground which has changed many times since then but is still a great and safe place for my kids to run around and have a blast. Now that I have discovered Ingress there is plenty for Dad to do around the playground as well. Portals and pokestops all around.

Pocahontas Park has slides and monkey bars, swings and places to run. There is a fence around the whole thing. The only thing I dont like is the rubber ground material. It gets super hot in the Florida sun. But since we dont want to be out at that time of day it isnt too much of an issue.

Love this place been going since i was little now i lile to take my little cousin there always clean and has a restroom and a fence with a lock so little ones cant get out, even have a smaller area so some bigger kids can play. There is also a lot of parking and restrooms and warer fountins near by

This could be a great park, but it always has sketchy people hanging out there.

Good place to bring your kids, clean as far as downtown parks are considered.

Its nice that its fenced in. But that is all it has going for it. However a fence doesnt matter if the gates are broken. The area is always unkept as far as trash and branches every were. There is a serious bug problem in theoak trees inside the park. The playground its self is starting to fall apart. Not to mention the groups of homeless men that sit inside the fenced area smoking cigarettes. What ever you do, dont let your women go in the bathrooms! Guys hide out in there waiting! Stay away from this park at all costs!

One of the nicer parks in Vero Beach to take your kids sometimes. I say sometimes because there are some people that will sometimes hang out around the park that kind of give you the creeps.
