Nice place but flooded. There is no information about the little house or the chimney.

Beautiful and peaceful trails. Theres no way you can really get lost, which I love. You are able to take your dogs with you on these trails. They provide waste bags at the trail head.

Its very peaceful. There are restrooms. A beautiful path to walk. Its a natural Florida hammock. Which means it has not been changed or altered all the vegetation is indigitus to our area. Its like saying its a natural Florida forest.

We had never walked this area before. We have lived in this area since 01 have learned a lot about the history. So this was just a bit of a walk about to actually feel the history. Note the restroom facilities are very clean for a public area.

Theres a nice hike to the beach through the trees, and some interesting history to this place. Id like to see the trails better maintained.

Great to visit. The info guides about trail and local wildlife and plants were interesting to read. Worth bringing your adventurous little ones. Make sure to watch for fire ants and other biting insects. My wife and I parked and road the jungle trail north to where the sand road ends at A1A. Very scenic and very low traffic.

This is a nice quiet trail in the middle of a very populated area. We didnt see any wildlife but had some good views of the water. This gives a idea of what the area looked like before it was developed.

Very disappointing for a Preserve begun by Theodore Roosevelt in 1903. It does lead to ocean access for about a 35 wide beach area bordered by mega mansion/resort places. They have cut it down so it doesnt go across to the ICW. Few birds. A shaded walk. Needs a lot of work.

A lovely area full of nature. One gets the impression of the Old Florida days when you sit down at the bench and look at the flora and fauna.

The recent cleanup and improvements have been nice. Wish there was more benches and shade trees though.
