We love Round Island! The walkway around the island is perfect for strolling or fishing! They also have a bridge that takes you through the woods on a little hike with an overlook that gives you a beautiful view of the area! It’s a great place to take the family! They have a canoe/kayak launch as well as a boat ramp! Almost every time we have gone out there has been manatees by the dock and this last time we saw an alligator!! They also have a playground but last time we were there it was under construction. It looks like they are updating the equipment. Round Island is definitely worth a visit!!

Gorgeous area to experience nature! The grounds were free of liter and taken care of. The trail is well kept and nice! Theres a large area for boating, kayaking, etc. The manatees were surfacing which just made my whole day! We also saw dolphins and all kinds of birds! There is a playground area for smaller children.

The park is divided, the beach access is on the east side of A1A, the playground and boardwalk over the water on the West. The boardwalk area has lots of parking with quick and easy access whether youd like to launch your kayak or walk the boardwalk to the bridge. We saw a pair of dolphins swim under the bridge. Its a beautiful and peaceful body of water. The beach on the other side is the most natural that Ive seen so far with grasses and wildflowers. Very few people were there so I think its known mostly to locals. Also a beautiful and peaceful place that I intend to frequent. Both sides of the park permit fishing. Highly recommended!

Round island is a great place to escape the noise and just enjoy nature. There are walking paths you can go on, a lookout tower, a boat launch into the river, fishing, and of course the wildlife!Sightings of a wide variety of butterflies, birds, manatees, dolphins and depending on conditions and time of day, the occasional bobcat. (I have not been that lucky, but a friend has spectacular photos of an early morning sighting.)There are picnic table Pavilions and public restrooms on property. There is no charge to enter this park and it closes at sunset.NOTE: All photos attached taken by me!

Round Island Riverside Park is a perfect place to go and see manatees, walk the trails, launch a canoe or small boat, or enjoy some open area to stretch your legs. The manatees can commonly be seen in the morning by walking out on a small boardwalk/dock or from atop a pedestrian bridge. There is a public restroom and basic playground equipment as well.

Great park to see some wildlife. Several boardwalk, trails, and tower over looking the inter coastal. Plenty of manatees to see ( today we saw at least 14 manatee), also have spotted dolphins two other times at the park. For being a guy from Michigan, the park reminds me a little bit of lakes you would find in Michigan. Fish jumping all over the place and birds all over.
