Very nice park, tastefully done. Great place for a relaxed stroll and admire the dedications to our fallen heroes. Will be back to catch a sunset. Another nice feature is that it is located in Riverside Park with plenty to do in the area (museum, theatre etc.)

Small Island on the beach side of Vero Beach Florida dedicated to the memorial of fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our beautiful country. It is a beautiful area to reflect on what our hero’s have done for our country. There’s plenty of little areas where one can sit and enjoy the beauty of this island. You can’t go wrong taking an early morning drive to the island during your stay in Vero Beach Florida. God Bless America!

It is a really amazing memorial park. The whole park is an island with a beautiful bridge out to the island. There is a large, inspirational American flag in the center of the island, welcoming you from the second you step on that bridge. There are benches facing the water and provide a nice view of the sunset. There are many memorials around the island for various branches of the military and there is an area with benches set up for gatherings and there is also a large open field. The island has paths all around and it is accessible with wheelchairs and strollers.

Beautiful place. My husband and his good friend/fellow marine were a part of a Memorial Day service here.Love visiting and going for walks!

A true well planned, perfectly landscaped, nicely maintained, many memorials highlighting all Veterans, military branches, peaceful, respectful, sanctuary, and absolute perfect island sanctuary where family and friends can go, 24/7, excellent nighttime lighting, parking, can go unimpeded to honor, thank, and be with their be loved Veterans who have been called home.

Often I visit here with my wife. Very peaceful and quiet place to walk around!

Very beautiful park on an island. Very nice walk, peaceful. Lots of benches to view the surrounding waters and sunsets or rises. Lots of historical facts throughout the park. Take a bag of peanuts for the squirrels. Theyll eat then right out of your hand.

Very Nice place. Dogs are allowed on the leash. It is a really nice walk if you need to get out for a bit, kill time, or light exercise. Nice to see a small Island Dedicated to all the Veterans. Its a place you have to check out for yourself. It is very neat.

What an awesome place! My kids and I never get tired of visiting. Always dolphins near shore and plenty of squirrels willing to get close enough to touch. Terrific for educating the fam on veterans and their sacrifices for our freedoms. Beautiful scenery and very tastefully created.

Very peaceful place. A beautiful reminder of the sacrifice of those who served. It’s very pretty to go take pictures. There is also a lot of squirrels so bring peanuts if u want to feed them. Nice to just go and talk a walk of sit down and read a book. It’s very quiet and not crowded at all.

This is a wonderful park to visit because it is a memorial to the local veterans who gave there service to this great country. It honors all the branches of our military in a beautifully laid out park with great views.

Go to spot to take the kids on a stroll. Just got to be careful of the squirrels in the morning. People feed them, so they can be a bit aggressive, following you, getting close, looking like theyre going to jump on you

Nice setup and a good reminder of our history and the people that gave all.Unfortunately many bicyclists dont care about the meaning of this island and race around the pedestrian path like race drivers. This is very disrespectful and annoying.The other negative is an other group of respect less people that take their dogs there and let them poop near die tombstones. There is a huge sign at the entrance over the bridge not to do that!!!Put a guard there, possible a retired veteran in uniform to teach them respect! I am available and think other veterans would like that too. Respect our sacred territory!

This spoil island is a memorial to Indian River County veterans. It is a beautifully maintained, quiet, place with trees and monuments inviting the visitor to reflection. The enormous flag can be seen from many points near the water. The Memorial Day ceremony is well-attended and very moving.

Having a namesake remembered here, its nice to see it kept up as it is, but I grew up fishing there also, and it is sad to see that you cannot these days

Quaint memorial honoring our veterans. We also saw some wildlife and it is close to the rest of the park and boat docks. It is a great little walk by the water.
