Very nice and decently maintained. Had gone there looking for live aquarium plants and driftwood. Successful with plenty of effort due it was all spread out far. Very nice beach and not crowded at all. Tons of real estate.

A beautiful and very quiet place. We visited this beach on a Saturday and it was not crowned at all. Parking is also free. 100% recommended!

Love, love, love this beach!! Very quiet, peaceful Beach. Not a tourist spot as it is far enough away from anything that would attract tourists.A family trip just looks like an old fashioned Beach that you remember from your childhood. You see the occasional fisherman, or just the person who likes to relax in their chair and read a book listening to the oceans waves crashing on shore.There is a lifeguard on duty in case you decide to dip your toes into the water. The beach is lined with private residences far enough back that you dont even notice them too much behind the natural vegetation.Again, this is not a tourist location. You would need to bring all of your own supplies as there is nothing around this area for food or beverages.

These spot is beautiful. The city should look into restoring it for families to enjoy.

We three gals finally visited the sweet little park . loved seeing Manatees. A neat walking trail with a lookout tower. A really nice afternoon.

Very clean park, NOT CROWDED, in October. Lots of sand on the beach, plus a in lifeguard.

Great place to walk down the windy beach and pick up scrap plastic so the fishies dont die. Filled up a big white plastic bag full of scrap plastic, so we felt honored to be helping the ocean.

Love this beach! pretty secluded, and there’s an awesome trail and dock right across the street! You can go and check out the nature as well as the infamous manatees.

I love this beach. Its just far enough away to be less crowded that South Beach or one of the others more North in Vero Beach. Theres plenty of parking, restrooms, pavillions and showers. Its a great spot away from the tourist crowd.

Very nice smaller beach, we really enjoyed it, it is less crowded than the nearby South Beach. No volleyball nets, and I think theres more seashells washed up on the sand but overall it is very nice.

My son and I love this beach because it is normally very empty early in the day when Pepper Park just down the street is already getting crowded... We often have the entire beach to ourselves and take long walks finding treasures and crabs and turtles along the way. Free parking and decent bathroom but the showers are barely enough to rinse off... It rains harder than those things

It was a quiet Tuesday afternoon just after a light rain. Very peaceful and clean.

Pretty, clean beach, not too crowded. Free parking, public restrooms and a pair of outdoor showers were a plus!

This park is located in a very quiet area with several picnic shelters and a restroom. The beach is very nice and never very crowded. There are showers on a pole to wash the sand off when you leave.

Best thing to do is is kayak. Good launch and calm protected areas. The island itself is small with a very good observation deck, but very buggy. Very good for coastal flora, with a trail. Across the street, excellent beach access with a lifeguard, good parking, rinsing showers.

Fantastic place to bring the kiddos to burn off some energy.

I love this place always a stop when Im visiting. MY grandma. Great relaxing kayaking love the walkway they put in along the water. The bridge is beautiful for a quick picture.... manatee hang out as well... so keep your eyes open

A local favorite due to the frequent Manatee sightings on the river side. There is an island with a very short trail to a tower and separate dock and a boat ramp on the river side. Kayaking around the island and fishing are good fun and if youre into people watching, there are often people being given tickets for touching the manatees. Sometimes they will come up to you in your kayak, just admire them and let them go on their way. The beach side is also very functional with concrete picnic pavilions and nice beach

City of Vero Beach does excellent job of keeping the park and beach clean and nice.

You never know what wildlife you will see at Round Island in Vero Beach. On my walk I got to see frisky dolphins playing in the water. Such an amazing experience I had. So incredible to watch dolphins mate and fish. There is a boat dock and kayak launch areas. They do have restrooms and the ocean is directly across the street. I love this park and you will too

Did not know about the training that was done during WWII, with Navy Divers. Was traveling back home to South Fl. Stopped to streach and look around very nice quiet beach.

Just a vanilla Beach backed by enormous homes. Clean and quiet and uncrowded during the week. A lifeguard is present during the day

It has a playground on the East and West side. Beach and playground on East, they do have outside showers. West side has a small playground and it’s on the river, has a wonderful Nature Trail! Also has a boat ramp as well!

Beautiful place to relax, stroll the boardwalk and the trail, climb the observation tower and take in Natures beauty. A great place to relax and watch for manatee & dolphin. Theres a nice playground for kids and the bathrooms are close. Across the street from the ocean, its the best of both worlds.

Visited the West side of the park. Beautiful park with good parking for large vehicles including boat trailers. They have an excellent sandy ramp area to launch kayaks. A few manatees were sighted on our visit.

Round island is just a beautiful place to go for a walk in nature just to see all the beautiful scenery whether you are an adult a child on a date or just want some time to think and ponder life round island gives you that opportunity to go walk and have a good time so I would highly recommend to anybody to go to round island whether you live here or are a visitor you will definitely have a good time.
