Top notch operation. This is the 4th time I have booked with Paddles over the past few years. When our grandchildren come to visit they always want to take a spin around the marina and Veterans Island. Convenient locations, staff is always congenial and helpful. They have quality equipment - kayaks and paddle boards etc. Highly recommend them!

Used them for part of a fundraiser with orchid island dog spa. All of their trainers are so nice and helpful making you feel safe while paddling. I would deff recommend them to tourist.

Rented kayaks and had a great time! Customer service was great, and they made us feel comfortable on the kayaks and gave us suggested routes. Saw some manatees too. Would definitely recommend this place!

First time here and first time paddle boarding in general. Overall, it is a great spot to do this kind of stuff. Paddle boarding was easier than I expected it to be. Waves were flat today with minimal boats nearby. Made for an overall great day. Staff was friendly too with informing us where to paddle to and how to paddle board. If you are looking for something fun to do and being outdoors, give this a shot.

We rented 3 paddle boards and a kayak on an early Sunday morning. Check-in was easy (build in some time to fill out i-pad paperwork, it was easy just took 5mins) Christian helped us at the dock and he couldnt have been more friendly and patient with us, giving us safety tips and quick tutorial for paddle boards. The staff in the bait shop were great too! There was a place to store your car keys & shoes on the dock. We had enough time to go around two coves and back with lots of wildlife sightings. I would highly recommend using them for a fun excursion especially if you have teenagers.

Had a wonderful morning with Dana! She and her husband were such friendly guides! She went at whatever pace we wanted and took lots of pictures for us. My girls were on paddleboards (could stand and sit, which was nice!) and I was in a kayak. The water was smooth mostly, but the wave ripples were fun too.

This was a great experience, the staff was very helpful and very friendly. The genuinely were happy to see you and help you. Chris was full of answers to my questions and Christian was super patient and helpful launching us. We definately recommend them in Vero Beach.

Had a great time today!! The rental process was super easy for us. We aren’t well versed in the world of outdoor water sports but wanted to try something new on our Vero Beach vacation. The shop had no issues with walking up and renting. They are experienced in the area and gave us good tips of where to go and which ways based off winds and currents.The trail normally has dolphins and manatees, which we didn’t get to see either of, but it was still an awesome time.Right price. Great people. Highly recommend if you’re coming into the area.

Super fantastic! The paddleboards were very easy to use, the instruction was clear and helpful. I was a first time user of paddleboarding and Caleb was a considerate, calm teacher. He even helped make sure my water was properly secured on the paddleboard! Go enjoy the water!

This is one of the hidden gems Vero beach if you want to rent a boat or maybe go paddle boarding for the day what a delight the staff was friendly the river was beautiful and of course the nature was fantastic take this in folks because it’s fabulous

Very reasonable prices. A good, calm place to kayak or ride a boat. Decent people work here, and the owner, Chris, is great. You will find some interesting plant and marine life kayaking here. I wish this man many years of good business. A very beautiful area to go kayaking. I hope to come back to this great town (dont know when) and still find this business here. Might rent a small boat with a canopy (bring family and relatives) next time and check out the coast.I have nothing bad to say about the business or my experiences here.They also have a good website that made it easy for a man passing through town to find them and book a reservation. All very convenient.

Dante and Shay were the kindest/sweetest people ! I rented a cabana for the day and they always made sure we had what we needed without being pushy or annoying. Definitely worth it, amazing service and beautiful beach . What more could u ask for?!

Stayed at the Vero Beach Hotel and Dante and the team MADE our Vacation with the paddle boarding and kayaking and shipwreck tour ...Dante was so kind and accomadating and just treats everyone like old friends ! I cant say enough good things about our time here. We used his cabana and boat rentals DAILY for a whole week! It was awesomesauce!

What an amazing place. The staff were so friendly. They squashed my fears of kayaking. The woman running the rentals gave s great lesson on how to use the kayaks as well as what exactly to do if I fell out. Prices were great too. I cant wait to go back next year.

Went out on the beach side. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Ocean had very little waves and perfect for paddle boarding. There’s even a sunken ship you can paddle to, go snorkeling, or scuba diving to check out. Will def come back again when in town.

Incredibly kind staff. We were surprised with how warmly we were welcomed and taken care of. We didnt make a reservation and were ok, but probably should have (and will in the future) by the amount of groups they were expecting. They gave us a full run down of how to paddle board and where to go, which I appreciate since I was going in blind. They have boxes to keep your things in and sunscreen to use. Their site is right on the water, so no need to carry the boards to a different location. We will definitely be returning here for our paddle board and kayaking needs!

Making a reservation was exceptionally easy and everyone was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. But... Special shout out to our tour guide Kaitlynn who made the morning absolutely incredible! She slowed down when we needed to slow down and took us to amazing spots and got us a beautiful view of dolphins. My friend and I were paddle board newbies and she really helped us and never made us feel silly when we ran into trees or needed a break. I highly recommend anyone looking for an intro to paddle boarding to come here. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

We went kayaking my first time. I found the young man and woman that was operating the place were really nice. I was a little nervous but after listening to the lady I felt comfortable and had a wonderful time. They have all kinds of stuff to rent. Check their web page out.

Chris is a great instructor !! He is the best of the best he taught me how to save my life in a kayak in case it flipped over.I feel very confident but I can get out of any situation get myself into the Open Water.He is one of the very few struck to share the State of Florida that does private lessons and that will actually teach you how to flip a kayak over teaches you by the weather about the gear hes hes kind hes easy-going.Respectfully William Dierdorf

I had never been paddle boarding until I went down to Florida for a trip. The owner/ instructor for Paddles by the sea, Chris, is fantastic. He was comfortable taking my children on his paddle board and they had a great time! My oldest (6 at the time) even paddled the board on her own! Chris is very knowledgeable and makes even the newest paddlers feel comfortable and safe!! Im so glad that I had this experience and I recommend it for any group large or small looking for a fun excursion on the water!!

We had a GREAT experience with them. Everything was very easy and the lady we met at the dock (Im sorry I forget her name...) was so helpful and friendly and got us all going in no time. She gave us tips on which way to head and we managed to see a couple of dolphins along the way. We will definitely return here again when we are in town!

My boyfriend and I rented kayaks here while we were on vacation last May. The owner was extremely pleasant and friendly...he even showed us pictures of the dolphins that swim by the kayak launch! There is a secure place to put your belongings and the owner offered us waterproof phone pouches to borrow. The owner helped us get our kayaks into and out of the water easily. We are very happy that we came here and we will definitely come back in the future!

This is my second year paddling with Paddles by the Sea while I was on vacation. This year I paddled in the inlet and in the ocean, to the wreck. I paddled in the AM and took a sunset paddle. The owner and staff are always very helpful and accommodating. They want you to have a great, memorable time and to be safe. With that in mind I had to move my sunset paddle because of a storm but when I went the weather was great the sunset gorgeous and the dolphins that I saw were amazing. The little ones were rolling over each other playing. It was such a memorable night.I would most definitely paddle with Paddle by the Sea again. If I lived in Fl Id be there all of the time!!!

Great time at a great location. Everyone you meet is friendly including Chris whos probably the friendliest of all. Highly recommend taking an hour or two out of your week to just see things from a different perspective.

Chris is a very personable, friendly guide and knowledgeable about paddling and the local waterways. Ive been out with him several times and always enjoyed myself. Ive also had many opportunities to see him interact with new, inexperienced paddlers, and hes really thorough and patient while showing them the ropes. Highly recommend.

While visiting in FL I had the pleasure of going on a Paddle Boarding excursion. It was my first time paddle boarding and with some patience I picked how to maneuver around fairly easy. The lesson was affordable, the instructor was super friendly, and even volunteered to take a picture of my friends and I. The area was clean and easy to find. Loved the person who works there. Being older, I had a very difficult time getting in and out of the kayak because you had to get in the kayak from a dock. I would have rather got in in shallow water. I felt like I was going to fall in. Once in the kayak, I loved it! Then, getting out required a lot of arm strength and it was different and rather embarrassing. So, for older people, I would try to rent one that has in shore in and out.

Great experience! My kids took out a paddleboard and a kayak. They paddled around and had a great time but it was cut short because of a squall coming in. I wish I could remember the name of the girl helping us, but whoever she was (June 4th, 2017) she swam out to get the kids attention to tell them to come in. There was no hurry but it was necessary. I appreciated the fact that she was paying attention to the weather and made a huge effort to get the kids in because there was no way they could hear from the shore out on the water. Great pricing, great equipment, great employee!

Ive done tours with Paddles By The Sea in their meetup group (Adventure Paddle Boarding) and I have also take boards from the spot in Vero Beach behind Riverside Cafe. I was new to paddle boarding before my first meetup and now I am addicted. I love being out on the water. Chris is a patient, friendly, and knowledgeable instructor and as I have gotten more comfortable he has helped me with techniques like feathering, draw stroke, and buoy turns. The tours always launch from cool places and no trip has been like the rest. Ive seen lots of wildlife out on tours and from the Riverside location.
