Absolutely love this place! Beautiful scenery! Theres always alligators, birds, turtles . Great for families♡ (I would recommend going in a group (more than two people). (On one occasion there was a less than kind human roaming around (not on the paths). Despite the one uncomfortable time, I definitely recommend this beautiful place. Definitely a hidden gem .

Didnt get too far down the trail today. It was pretty flooded from all the recent rain. Ill definently be back on a dry day. Though it seems very dog friendly and there is a lot of shade on a hot day.

WET TRAIL! Unless you visit during the dry season (AKA “winter“), bring water proof shoes or old sneakers—or you will be sorry...Trail starts in a hammock and trails through mangrove. Multiple picnic areas and benches to relax.Longest Trail is about 2 miles. Shortest amount .5 mile. See pictures of trail map attached.Dear Indian River County friends, please remove the increasing amount of invasive species that are taking over this beautiful trail (see pictures of air potato, casuarina, Brazilian pepper, etc. etc.)

This is a nice trail to a lagoon. Very simple but I love that there are multiple variations of the paths here to make it long or short. Mosquitos are present. Be prepared.

We missed the entrance and went off roading it was awesome but not sure allowed lol . Look for the condo entrance and turn left in a small hidden parking circleWe had are 3 year old and didnt see any Gators that we were hoping for . Also Note follow the path to the look out and go back the same way if u take the loop back its a never ending dirt Rd. With nothing to see Big mistake our son had to be held 1 mile by me and another by his mom because he couldnt walk anymore. I suggest to go back the way u came if u have small kids . But really cool adventure and a lifetime of memories

I really liked it. Not a good place to walk during the rainy season or after a heavy rain cause it coursed through the mangroves, (swamp) It has a clearly defined main trail and a boardwalk that cuts through it, benches and picnic tables scattered about if you just want to sit for awhile and enjoy the view, rest or socialize. bring water, or something to drink on warm days even though a lot of the trail is shady there is no place to purchase food or drink. Please drop all trash in its proper place. Early Walker might need to bring a stick to hold up to clear spider webs. Lol yes I walked into a couple. There is a short trail that does not seem to be travel very often. Not well defined and very overgrown make sure you use insect repellent before choosing this path I walked it and was fine but there are trip hazards lots of roots and overhanging limbs. I loved it. Beautiful nature trail!

This is a very nice walking path. You can go straight out over the bridges to the deck on the Indian River or you can walk the loop for a longer walk. Its nice an quiet and offers great views of the Indian River and the 17th Street Bridge. There are limited parking spots, maybe 10, which keeps the place from getting crowded. Enjoy !!

Nice trails, crushed shells and dirt. Not muddy even after a major rain. Quite a bit of cover, bugs very minimal. Walking the whole thing is a good walk. River overlook is a nice view. Common b-yard birds and a few water birds. Go try it out!

Great hiking place. Lots of mangroves and life they hold. A huge wooden walk way to walk right through the walking trees and water. If want a shorter walk you can walk right to the lagoon to a small pier. There is also a loop that is another 1 1/2 miles that is still in the water way.It does get muddy and trail pools over during the rainy times. We have seen alligator but rare. Mangroves are tight along trail for birds but once you hit the lagoon you can see much better for birding.

Very nice set of trails. There were lots of people around. Some people need to respect the dog leash laws better. A dog dragging a leash is not considered a leashed pet. Its all well and good for friendly dogs, but ones that growl should be under better control.

The very beginning of the trail is nice. But once it opens up, and you hit the loop, it is nothing but a very long loop with nothing scenic....(with the exception of a small opening where you can see the river. Otherwise, its nothing but a dirt path around a swamp. Eww.

Came here to eat lunch on my break. Started hearing a horn blaring. The 9th time I realized it wasnt my phone and instead a lady in a Mercedes pointing towards the road apparently telling me I need to leave. Ignored her while she continued to blare her horn at me a good 20-30 times. Apparently eating chipotle in your car at a park while brown is a crime. Ruined my day, but Ill be coming back and updating my review once I walk the trail in my new car :).
