Peaceful,Quiet with scenic views.Picturesque place.Great for walking,fishing,hanging out and picnic with family or even a date. A good getaway to breath some fresh air.Plus you can see ducks,swans..love to explore the area.Safe place coz there is a Guard and someone who roam around to check the surroundings.And a big check coz you can see the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom too.

Its a nice playground for kids aged 1 to 10 but not for any older. Has a nice soccer playground and lake as well. Have seen people fishing there as well.

VERY PRETTY LOTS OF DUCKS AND SWANS TO FEED. AND IF YOU ARE LUCKY YOU CAN SEE THE ANIMALS ACROSS THE LAKE AT MARINE WORLD

Hidden gem. Playground was awesome. Had nice sports complex. Nice little lake for fishing however all I caught was weeds . Pay for entry on weekends, free most days during the week.

Ive been twice this week. As of now its clean, and beautiful. The pond is across from six flags so its a cool view. Lots of grass and a nature. You can drop a kayak in and the water is smooth and easy to navigate. Such a nice place to drop the kayak in for an hour. Im making this my spot lol.

For starters Dan Foley Park has three different levels to it as you enter on the right hand side theres a play area for children and a parking area thats close to the equipment. The second level is facing Six Flags amusement park also you can see the soccer field as well as a baseball field depending on which direction you are facing and last but not the least the very bottom where you have a very close view of the water as well as nature. Is very relaxing and tranquil you can meditate by the water

Nice place to relax. I take my nephew to feed the ducks and run around at the park. The playground was fun, but cant use it since covid-19...Other then that its a great place to go to.

This is a great park for sports .. great place to walk on trails. Some homeless people live there but the ones with the dog are polite and very helpful.. great community park . There has been times I have been just sitting reading a book or kiddo was doing homework and a party was ending and we were offered leftovers. Really really great park..

My dogs and the swans of Dan Foley Park, learn to share the river together. My little ones love the water even if they must have a face off with the wildlife. Such lovely pictures I enjoy sharing with you.

Great place for family picnics, family reunions, company picnics or any event that you might be planning. Only drawback is you cant have a DJ. Great place to take the kids to fish or feed the Ducks. Or take your small boat or kayak on the lake.

I love Dan Foley Park because some days the lake is so pretty that it looks like glass!!

Its amazing views of Six Flags and Nature. Beautifully kept lawns of green grass. The swans and ducks my kids had a Great time feeding. It was Awesome to see my daughters laugh and enjoy life even in the midst of so much turmoil and saddness.

Havent been here in awhile. Its great to see that the city cleaned up the place and did some remodeling. My kids have fun here!

A wonderful combination of activities can be had ranging from fishing to picnicking. There are plenty colorful characters in and around the park but nothing to worry about. Its a little gem in the background of an otherwise armpit of a town.

Went to this location for union picnic. This park is hidden gem. Across the lake is Six flags. Nice picnic areas. Volley ball courts n horse shoe. Would go there again.

HUGGGEEE park directly across from Marine World or I mean Six Flags Discovery Kingdom or whatever its called. Huge park with acres and acres and acres of grassed areas to run and play game with kids dogs or friends a nice playground lots of parking a huge pond with ducks and fishing and a visitors center you can rent out for wvents

The Saturday I was there with my good friends it was warm with a cool breeze every now and then. Plenty of shade and even though I didnt use the restrooms on site, from what I was told it was in need of attention, especially the Womens .

Park and lake were pretty but theres trash on the grounds and a lot of parked cars & homeless sitting around. Felt a little sketchy about letting my kids play with near random people without kids.

Great place for soccer even during the week. Weekends there is a parking fee. There is also food sold here when there are soccer games.

Ample parking, large hall & recently renovated.

Sweet little hidden gem in vallejo

Always a pleasant place to pass the time. They have a ball quart, soccer field, nice restrooms, and the lake is always a place good for unwinding and just relaxing.

This park has always been the best park Vallejo has that u can fish at watch six flags boat shows.

Small park still a lil jewel in Vallejo. Used to be popular but still favorite of mines to enjoy a nice day & or lunch.

Nice park not very calm water is very dirty and seems to be no fish. I went fishing here and stayed well over 6 hours got nothing there was other fisherman there some on kayaks didn’t see anyone catch anything.water was polluted

It’s a very nice park. A lots of space.However it can very missleading because they don’t tell you that they do charge. And if your handicap it does not indicate/state whether they make reasonable accommodations If you’re not able to pay as others are and can park outside the park

Lots of space plenty of parking, boat launch, lake, geese w/babies, swans w/cygnets, tons of picnic tables w&w/o shade, barbeques, community center, basketball court, baseball fields.All on about 4 levels behind Sutter Hospital at the East end of El Camino St off if Tuolomne.

Very big park, has everything you need to have a family outing. Plus theres fishing.

Nice family park . they have a nice pkayground for the kids one for the bigger kids one for the tots . they have lighted baseball fields all at the top of the entrance then down below they have a reall nice bbq area by the fishing / duck pond its a nice clean park.....only down fall is older youthish like to chill in the parking lots but they keep to them selfs

We stayed 1 night because our condo wasnt going to be ready until the next day. This hotel reminds me of 1 in my hometown, its used for longterm residents as well as visitors and that combo is never good. The room on each side of ours was one if those long term Im pretty sure because they had 2 chairs, flowers and cement yard orniments decorating their doorway. The room was adequate but the sheets were pilling and I cant stand that I throw my sheets away when that happens. It just didnt feel right to me if that makes any sense, I wont go back.

I grew up coming here and have not been back for many years. It has changed a lot since then and I did not have the chance to see the entire area to be able to rate it properly but from all I saw, I liked the clean up done and the landscaping as well as how the buildings are being put to good use. The parking lot also appeared to have been recently redone or is well taken care of and maintained. No graffiti was nice.I wish I had made it to where I remember the play structures to see what is available. I have fond memories. I hope there are still nice things for children to play on.

Great place to have birthday parties and fishing

Its a pretty decent park, especially considering that Vallejo has plenty of woes otherwise. Its worth coming out to have the kids play on the jungle gym or for a nice walk along the waterfront

This park is awesome. Nice size with a short but fun mountain bike trail. There is also a few sports fields (soccer basketball, and baseball) a clubhouse, and plenty of parking all over the park with nice shady areas to use on hot days. My dog loves to run around here and there are plenty of secluded areas where many people are doing the shnoozle doozle behind the bushes. It is always clean too. The only negative is that for a large part of the year they charge to get in to the park on the weekends. Highly recommend.

Nice place to B-B-Que and a beautiful view. Watch out for the bees and the poopy in the grass!

Really liked the views by the water front. The negative was all the homeless people who moved in next to the one basketball court.

Its good through the week but now you cant go to bathroom because they took out the portapotties!so not so good anymore.I dont feel the people of vallejo should have to pay to get in our park on the weekends either.
