Other than the paint being a little faded its hard to believe this ride is turning 20 years old this year. It is so smooth, the restraints are so comfortable and the first roll after the drop is crazy. Even if youre scared of coasters try this one, you feel very secure on this ride.

CROP them OUT of OUR freakin picture if it’s That big of a deal then! Don’t DELETE ours on the LAST ride of the night before closing! We drove 4 hours to get there today, and Finally worked up the courage to actually ride on Medusa at 8:57pm when they closed at 9:00. They were excited for the photo to have as “proof”. My kids were VERY upsetWhat a let down.

This is my favorite ride at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! It’s an amazing experience and even though it’s been there for a few years; it continues to be one of the smoothest rides I’ve ever been on.

Best ride in the park (at least that were open). Silky smooth track, no jerk on the lift chain, and fairly comfortable seats/restraints. Massive first drop, long ride time, and fairly short lines. Definitely a must ride.

It’s a fun B&M floorless it has a slight rattle but the layout is great

Great roller coaster! Set some records back in the day but Ive been on bigger faster twistier roller coasters. The bottom line is that it may not be the flashiest but it is a smooth and engaging thrill ride the whole way through. She wont make you sick to your stomach but itll just send chills up-and-down your spine and put a smile on her face!Enjoy Medusa!

This ride is always great. Note go before opening and ride this right away. You will have to wait for testing but thats better than two hours waiting any time after opening. Then go straight to long for no line wait.

Smooth, fast, and typically a short wait. Expect your eyes to water from the high speeds and make sure to put your stuff in a locker as they are strict about their no bags policy. Water bottles are okay though.

Probably the best coaster in Northern California! If youre really addicted to this ride like i do then you really need a Flash pass because this line can become waits of an hour before you can ride it!If you dont have one, try to go during the first opening of the day as well as late into the night before the park closes!

The ride is so much fun I recommend wearing flip flops and taking them off before the ride starts it s a one and a life time thing to do its really fun

Very fast with lots of twists and turns. Its a little too much for me but my daughter loved it.

Best coaster i have been on. Very smooth and the perfect amount of inversions, but the lines tend to get long so rush for this first thing in the morning and make sure to get front row

Very fun ride, but I dont recommend riding Wonder Woman before this ride.

The line was extra long and they let all of the flash pass people on first. The line should have been 1 hour, it was 3

An absolutely great coaster, make sure you remember that you cant bring bags/backpacks on the ride, so leave them in the lockers downstairs. In the rode, enjoy the 7 inversions, and prepare to have your eyes water!

I love this ride! This was my first big kid rollercoaster, and it made me come out of my shell. The first time I went on it I was willing to go even though I was extremely scared and nervous. Before this I went a ride called Demon at Great America, and that ride makes you feel gravity like A LOT, but the first time I went on Medusa I was amazed! In the end this is one of the best rollercoasters Ive ever been on.

I went full on Gordon Ramsay on this ride because it was so fun

THIS WAS AMAZING! The first time you go on it is a bit scary but after that, you want to go on it forever! I went on it 5 times when I was there and I never regretted it once. The initial drop might be a little scary because it makes your stomach hurt at that part because of the high pressure of 4.2 Gs. Its awesome overall! I recommend the front seats. :D

OMG!!! This is the best ride ever!!! I was going on and it was my first loop ride. I was nervous and excited. The drop was actually a long but angled drop. If this is also your first loop ride dont worry. The loops feel nothing like going upside probably because there zero gravity loops. Only one part of the ride is actually rough.

Nice place for the kids ride.

Definitely worth the money spent. We went on a Monday there were barely any lines for the rides. Pack food and leave in the lockers outside the entrance so you dont have to pay the crazy amounts they want for their food. Most rides were open. Medusa was probably our favorite and Kong our least favorite.

Amazing ride experience. I almost pass out on my first ride but then I did this ride for total 11 times and it was amazing. Its better than even superman ride which is too short for just around 30 seconds.

I literally felt drunk after I got off of this insane rollercoaster. Took me the rest of the night to feel normal. Horribly fun.

Fun B&M Floorless Coaster, and I felt scared before but once youre on it it is not too intense. It did have a little rattle to it but its still pretty smooth. I loved the inversions and the first drop seems scary, but its not. That loop is amazing, not too much hangtime, but it was still awesome. Probably the third best coaster in the park, the other two being Superman and Joker.

See heres the thing I dont like coasters that go upside down,loop de loop, or anything. I HAD a huge phobia. But its not the speed or height its getting stuck upside down...All that aside Medusa is great! It gives you the right amount of speed with the right amount of loops! Once you conquer that one all the other (Superman aside, which lasts about 45 sec) seem like easy rides. Highly recommend this as a first coaster.Spoiler: when you get to the top it does a little drop then the big drop

I can ride this rollercoaster over and over even though the first drop always get you I think this is the best ride at the park
