This is one of my favorite spots to visit. The combination of the crystal clear blue waters of the Rio Grande and the towering cliffs make this a magical place to spend time in. There are multiple species of fish to catch, Rainbow, Brooke and Brown trout, Small Mouth bass and Sonora Suckers. It is a place worth experiencing, you will not be disappointed.
The Fishing was nice. Very peaceful I enjoy the visit everytime.
Lived in NM for 50+ years and never knew this gem was there! Beautiful and clean.
Beautiful area. Rich with wildlife.
The bridge was fine, but once you get across its a long, treacherous drive up a windy, narrow, rocky road.
Just a cool little niche of a place down in the Rio Grande Gorge. Drive down from Taos from the east bank, chill for a bit at the bridge, then drive up the Gorge on the west side, taking you to Rio Grande Gorge State Park/Bridge. Might even get some sweet pics of Desert Bighorn at the Gorge Bridge area (some are much bigger than I expected!).
Where people put into kyak
Good place to spend the day
The bridge is.. bridgey.. it does its job. It happens to be in a beautiful place. The area is bursting with wildlife and people enjoying outdoor activities. There is a 3 dollar a day parking fee.
What a great bridge! OMG, I nearly cant believe how wonderful this bridge is! No, really, it is just a bridge and there is nothing spectacular about it. I dont know why Google listed it in my places I have been.
Beautiful day to enjoy the river. Hot day and cool water. The run off was very high for this time of year. If youre a rafter or like going the river. Its the best time to go. The fishing was very bad, because the river was running high and fast. A great place to enjoying the outdoors by yourself or with the family.
BLM does a great job keeping it clean. Thanks for all you do Barry
Wow the view Hua scenic and I also told other people they also went to see the same great
Beautiful. You have Togo down into the gorge to appreciate its beauty.
Out of state people stay away !
I love this place
Nice campground at a great price. No hookups our dump station but water available. Noseeums pretty bad though.
Beautiful and a great place to launch for tubes and kayaks!
For what it is ... a bridge ... it got us from one side of the gorge to the other ... pretty decent BLM campground alongside
Love it everyone need to see it
Good fishing under that bridge northern pike
Great place to kick back a swim and chill with your family and pets
What an adventure with far flung rafting
A must if you visit Taos. Dont forget to drive down to the river at Pilar.
Magnificent view
Fun fun fun
