A lovely connecting set of trails that allow for exercise and takes you through both wooded and field setting. They’ve used a ground oyster shell for the trail part and this is good for footing but sometimes can get in your shoes. There are nice water fountains and bathrooms to use.

4 separate parking areas with bathrooms along the way. Lots of trail offshoots along the way. There are no slippery areas, even after the rain like some of the other local hiking trails. Theres open fields and heavily wooded areas depending what youre looking for, wide main path is easy to follow or take the tighter paths to feel more secluded. There are picnic tables and cozy benches thoughtfully placed along the way and water fountains for humans and dogs. Lots of loops for you to decide how long or short you want your hike to be. Its a lovely place to run alone, walk your dog/kid, bike with a friend or even ride your horse. Ive done them all out there and loved them all!

One of my all time favorite places in Tallahassee. Beautiful and relaxing, and one of the best trails for running, jogging, or walking. Large open spaces great for groups, picnics, sports, etc. They recently installed a misting shower at one of the entrances and that is such a life saver when youre out running on a hot day.

I am a 60-year-old woman and I come here to let my dog cool off on busy days. I have never been afraid to be alone in this park during the day. In fact, I have been meeting my husband here for quick lunches for several years. It has some well thought out amenities. A fountain for human and k-9 a place to walk a horse or maybe ride.

I had always only been the Alfond Parkway and hot damn did I miss out on this Greenway when I lived in Tallahassee. It was breathtaking how beautiful it was. Theres an overlook that takes you on a walk through the treetops and then takes you through a small lake. Truly amazing. Not to be missed if you like hiking/walking.

LOVE this park! Lots of trails, the terrain is up & down hills, there will be people walking, jogging, riding bikes, and walking dogs. The trails have rocks, some roots and there are erosion bars built across the trails. The Flieschmann Road entrance has a small parking area, but some people park at the eye center if it gets full. Theres a Porta-let there if you need facilities & surprisingly clean for a Porta-let! At the Miccosukee Greenway entrance there is an actual restroom. Clean. Along the way are benches to sit down, and a lovely picnic area at the M. Greenway entrance. No lights along the trail, so either bring your own if youre walking after dark or not walk at all after dark.

Miccosukee Greenway offers one of the most diverse nature expierences in Tallahassee - a delight for hikers and dog lovers. Vast open pastureland and trails through deep forests combine to give visitors a full range of the beauty of North Florida in all seasons. I try to visit once a month at least, and each time I discover some new natural wonder.

There is a six mile Trail Fram one parking lot to the other. Not counting all the small branches which has no signage. The place seems less crowded than Tom brown park. Every so often there will be a bench. Water fountains are only located at the parking lots.Be sure to wear a hat because the beginning of the trial is a wide-open plane, and later on you will be in miles and miles of woods. Not too many interesting finds here such as animals or interesting plants but overall this is a great trail for hiking and cycling.

Gorgeous trails for all activities on the outskirts of Tallahassee. The Miccosukkee Greenway has gravel trails which are perfect for walking, running, biking, or horse-riding, winding in and out of the woods with multiple trail heads. The drainage humps at intervals along the trail are probably the only thing which detract from a biking trip.
