This is a place I am very excited to be able to return to once the pandemic is over and its safe. Its such a magical place. Makes a great place to go with friends, alone, or on a date. The gift shop is great as well! Such a beautiful place. Parking is never a problem, though you may have to parallel park so be prepared for that or to walk a block.

Its small, but free (though donations are appreciated!) and a makes for a nice, quick break from the cities. Lots of locals in the park nearby and parking wasnt too bad (in winter). Really enjoyed the effort that had been put into their Christmas display. Staff was very friendly. Maybe not a place to go out of your way to see, but if youre in the neighborhood its worth a stop.

Always love a visit to this arboretum. The displays change, so there is always something new to see. Well maintained, and most of the plants are labeled so you know what you are looking at. It is a small place, and a walk through only takes 10 minutes or so, but they do a great job. I definitely recommend going during the holidays as the poinsettia displays are always spectacular!

Beautiful place! This place has such a rich history. Definitely ask for a guided tour. Its a very small building, and doing a guided tour makes looking at the plants much more interesting and unique. They have a wonderful gift shop in there as well. The staff is really nice and are happy to answer any of your questions. They make everyone feel welcomed here.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony here in July. We had been to the conservatory a handful of times together and had fond memories of going there. So we thought it would be special to get married there since we only wanted close family to attend the actual ceremony. Well, it was beyond special. Of the ten to 20 times I had gone to the conservatory over the years with and without my husband prior to our wedding, it was beautiful every time. But I have NEVER seen it so beautiful and magical as it was on our wedding day. It truly blew me away the amount and variety of outstandingly beautiful plants they had crammed in there! Man, it was cool!! I am forever grateful to the conservatory for making our special day so beautiful and memorable. I know this review and these photos are long overdue, but I hope you know how grateful we are. Thank you thank you thank you.

Located on the east side of Wright park, theres a small driveway that accommodates 5-6 cars, with street side parking otherwise. Visiting is free, with a recommended donation of $3 per person. You can buy a little fish food in the gift shop to feed the fish! Pathways are pretty narrow, but manageable for wheelchairs or strollers. The conservatory has events, but is definitely worth a visit any time!

Beautiful place. The short(10min) visit was enjoyable until a staff member requested that my family and I pay them $25 because we took a couple photos togeather(this is AFTER we gave a $20 donation at the entrance). Their approach and comments demanding another $5 as they followed us as we exited undid the overall pleasant visit.

I cant believe how amazed I get everytime I venture here. I am kind of fond of one of the workers, I think his name is Kevin? Or was it Nathan? Either way, I flirt with him and it just floats over his head. My favorite thing he says to me is parks closed and I laugh at him and his resistance to never bat an eyelash in my direction. I appreciate all the hard work the metro parks staff puts in to the conservatory, mind you all of the parks. Thank you for all of the beautiful sights.

An absolutely AMAZING place to go if you love plants and flowers. Just the right size, could take you between 5 minutes to an hour to get through the building, depending on how much time you spend admiring/ taking pictures of the plantlife. A cute koi pond is there, as well. Its free to enter, but there is a donation box when you walk through the door and a gift shop inside the conservatory. If you can, try to drop a few dollars in the donation box or make a stop by the gift shop. We have to keep wonderful places like this in business.

This Conservatory is very special to us because we married there. The staff was so very nice to open it to us and our family and friends on a Monday when they are usually closed. It was right after Easter so the Conservatory was filled with spring flowers blooming. We could not have wished for me. Thank you for making our day special! Much smaller than other botanical conservatories I have visited, but well worth the visit.

This place is amazing. We had lived in the area for 28 years and had never visited this place. We are now huge advocates for people visiting. It is filled with exotic plants which are both beautiful and interesting. It is located in Wright Park which, also, is a wonderful place in which to walk and enjoy the wide variety of beautiful trees (all of which have labels which tell you what kind of a tree youre observing).

They keep large living fish for display and decorum in a tiny body of water. The walkway in and out is narrow and crowded and the air is muggy on hot days inside. The plants inside are great though. They need do away with using fish which are subjected to a life of display.

A beautifully kept little greenhouse. Located on the edge of Wright Park, this conservatory is open to the public most days until 4 pm. It can also be rented out. You can park in the little round about in front of it. There is a cute sculpture requesting a donation on the way in. There are several places to sit inside. There is also a gift shop with honey related items, plant starts, air plants, magnets, garden art, and rain chains.I imagine that sometimes in the summer it is unbearably hot. The day we went it was low 50s outside. Inside it was in the low 80s. Free (ish), all ages, accessible.
