Nice little green space that leads to the sidewalk along the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There is plenty of parking at the park n ride at the other end. The park itself is a great tribute to fallen veterans in the major wars, and locally built or dedicated ships.

Thank you Tacoma for the amazing tribute to those amazing men that gave everything for their country. The United states and its people should have a place to remember and show tribute to the true heroes of our freedom. Thank you to all those that sacrifice for me and my family to live free.

The Park isnt the best maintained, but there are lists of the Men and Women of Pirece County that were awarded the Medal of Honor or died fighting for our country. Additionally it is one of the parks where you can go and walk across the Narrows Bridge, a great walk with beautiful views.

What an actual little gem for the Tacoma/Gig area. Really enjoyed taking our time and reading the memorials before heading across Narrows bridge on foot. All in all 2 hours is perfect if your planning to walk bridge. Caution, i would not park amd walk late evening. Im sure the parking lot after business hours gets a little sketchy

Hello what can I say about the Warriors part todays hero and yesterday the outstanding these boys have marched and gave their life for us for what they believe in what a bunch of good guys and women I come here quite often to think about them and ring the bell to show my appreciation one thing we can do is remove the bums out of here theyre so lazy if they wasnt so lazy they be fighting for the country but they did it ask for a handout and lay in the park and do nothing to serve our country is that make a mess down here time to stop the camping and allow the drug people to stay around our neighborhoods and Rob us thats all thats going on

We were really just looking for a way to get to the bridge to take a walk but ended up being very touched by all the names we read of the Service men and women, especially those missing in action or prisoners of war. The directions said to take N 7 th St to get to the park but that leads to a restricted gated community. The park is at the west end of the Park and Ride on 6 th Avenue.
