Love this park. Mainly used to walk my dog around. Had two really special encounters with the sea life that I will never forget. We take the Granddaughter there these days

A nice, quiet place to get away from the city. No public restroom, so plan ahead. Dog and kid friendly!

There were crabs, maybe fish further out, and one lone seal bobbing about in the water. It was beautiful. I like the location of it, by the train tracks and the ship port. I would definitely recommend coming here, old or young.

Great day to eat lunch here. The picnic table are a little sticky from stuff falling from the trees. Not a big deal in blue jeans. Nice and clean park. A real gem.

Quiet small view park, tucked away under an over pass. Looking out on the industrial water front.°°°No trash receptacles. °°°No restrooms. No playground equipment for children.°°°Open front and dock. °°°Can be quite chilly°°°NOTE°°°{ Safety Info } There is usually a °°Police Officer Present°° sitting in their vehicle. Just around the fence corner, beyond the line of sight at the end of the parking spaces.

Great place to launch a kayak from a smooth river rock beach and explore the Foss Waterway and Puyallup river. There is a loading area with two big steps to down to the landing. The listed hours are incorrect, this is a public park open year-round dawn to dusk.

Nice little park to take a stroll or sit and watch boats go by. Website says 911 memorial. We were underwhelmed with the lack of tribute to that day. I wish the memorial had a plaque that stated what it was. No mention of 911, just on the website.

Cute, clean, polished little park right beside downtown tacoma. lots of parking for a sunny saturday, which was a welcome relief. theres a small walkway beside a grassy knoll, and a long dock you can go down. small beach, large enough for a kayak launching point. thankfully there arent any playgrounds, so not as many kids :) also half of the parking is under a bridge, and there are a few people who smoke pot here...just sitting in their cars or just enjoying the day, but smoking pot. if that offends you, maybe not check out this park.

Found this hidden gem while looking for a place to eat my sack lunch. I enjoyed watching the boats exiting/entering the jetty, exploring the names and dedications on the bricks near a giant metal globe (by the flagpole,) and watched an old man and a boy make a boat out of driftwood and set it afloat, at the small beach area (rocky, not sandy, but with access to the water.) Took a walk past the pier and around the office complex by the water, back through the parking barn, where I found a free book kiosk, and found a good book to read. The whole area was very clean, with just a few people.

This is a chill grassy park overlooking the bay, a small beach access point, and a regular batch of casual skateboarders. Its a bit out of the way, so its usually quiet. Parking is easy, and many spots are covered by the low-usage overpass from Dock Street.
