Its a great place to discover beautiful art and jewelry and many other items that are created by local artists. The owner is a wonderful person who will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and inform you about everything you need to know about all the wonderful items she has for sale. A must see when you are in Tacoma.

I absolutely love stopping in to Creative Forces Gifts & Sundries and see the local art from artists of so many different styles. There is always something new to check out and Carolyn is always so helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Even though this is located in a hotel, it is not just for out of towners. This is a great place to go to support your local art scene and small independent artists and an amazing independent shop owner.

I have been to Creative Forces Gifts and Sundries many times. The owner, Carolyn, represents more than 50 local artists and is an artist herself. The quality of the art in the store is astounding! I love coming to Tacoma and finding handmade glass items -- and this shop is full of them! I have bought several gifts for my wife here and they are all original works of art from a truely unique setting in a beautiful boutique hotel! I highly recommend coming here the next time you are in the area -- or even if you already live in the area and are looking for a unique gift item.

Found a beautiful handcrafted glass necklace and earrings at this classy art shop in upscale Murano Hotel. Nice variety of local artworks, chocolates, too :-) and friendly staff!
