These guys are great! Helped repair a very old small antique mirror. I also had another large mirror about 100 years old, which they could not fix, but referred me to a great Fine Arts Antique Restoration Business up North in Seattle. Thank you very much!

The staff here is very friendly and patient. They were quite busy on the Saturday I came in, but handled it gracefully and with great customer service. They did a fantastic job framing a piece of art I brought back from overseas and had terrific recommendations for frames and mats. I couldnt be happier with the finished product and quick turn around time.

Wanted to commemorate one of the best birthday weekends that Ive ever had: my alma mater, LSU, winning the national championship. I worked with Sean through the whole process, bouncing ideas off of one another and was more than thrilled with the final product. To Sean and the entire MQF team, THANK YOU!!!!

Sean is fantastic, he framed 12 pieces of artwork very quickly, for an art show, where last minute changes left us scrambling. Sean to the rescue. He did an amazing job, he float framed the pieces and they are beautiful. If you need quality professional framing this is the place.

We took some watercolors that where painted over 100 years ago by my wifes grandmother. They had been framed but not very well. The difference was night and day. The pictures are absolutely beautiful.

This place did a great job framing an alphabet for our sons room. They also sell the alphabet as its Tacoma themed. A little pricey but thats what you pay for quality. Would definitely use them again!

We have only had good experiences with MQF stores in general, and this was our first time at the Proctor location in Tacoma - which did not disappoint. Great staff, knowledgeable and not pushy. Our vintage photos were framed beautifully and were super happy with the result. Will come back for future framing needs.

I brought in a total of 8 pieces. 2 paintings from my home needed to be RE-tacked and I had 6 pieces of watercolor art that needed framing. They were ready for pick up in just over a week and the quality of work was excellent. I would not hesitate to use museum quality framing again!

Recently I took a large needlepoint piece in to Phil Carpenter at Museum Quality Framing on Proctor St in Tacoma. Having moved from Oregon I was nervous trusting my 20 x 25 inch Cheetah to someone I did not know as this had been my project off and on for over thirty years. An earlier extensive telephone conversation led me to believe that Mr. Carpenter did, indeed, know his trade. The results are stunning.......the time and expertise show in the care and detail work. Mr. Carpenter is deserving of his fine reputation and I will recommend him to others without reserve. Rosalie Clarke

With in 5 min, we made the decision! It was so easy. She was a huge help. It looks perfect in our room. Relaxing atmosphere, I never felt rushed! Thank You

This place is wonderful. I have done a lot of custom framing all over Washington and Texas. What makes this place stand out is their customer service. I had to do a lot of my work over the phone and they were very helpful. Not only would they go above and beyond but they were also speedy and efficient.

Have used MQF twice now and very happy with the entire process. The staff is friendly and attentive, never felt rushed and they took the time to ensure I got the look I envisioned. They have a decent selection of off-the-shelf frames and will order as needed for odd sizes or other colors. I had replacement glass cut, mats cut and prints framed and wire hung. Nice, clean job each time. For the reviews that say MFQ is very expensive, as an artist I have used a host of framing services as well as doing my own. I find their prices are competitve and maybe just slightly higher (when not having a sale). Shop local.
