Ever since my daughter recommended we try Spun it has been a blast of fun and it isi a very great stress reliever. I am a beginner and I will say this the ladies at Spun are true Gems love them. They are so helpful and try to make sure you are always doing ok and are comfortable as well. Classes arent open right now but they do have other things you can do and the prices are reasonable. My family and I have a great time there everytime we go and they do practice safety protocols which we are big on as well.

I found this place on a web search and I’m so glad I did. I brought in my husband and 6 y.o. daughter and she was great with all 3 of us for our first time doing anything like turning pots. We’ll be going back to glaze and probably even to do it again!

Went in with a friend for one of their single item classes. Jennifer and April are fun to work with and are really patient and personable. Prices are really, really reasonable, considering what youre getting.If youre looking for something to do with friends or something for date night thats not just drinking or movies, I would absolutely recommend making something at SPUN.*Small* dog friendly!

We recently had a birthday party for my girlfriend here and I must say that it was absolutely perfect. We had a party of 6 adults and a couple kids. April and Jen provided us with beverages and food in a very laid back and fun environment where these beginners could (with their creative expertise, ideas and direction) visualize and create quality pieces of pottery. Thanks again for the amazing day we will be back to fine tune our Lobster claws and get ghosted!

April and Jen run Spun and are amazing to work with. If you want to make your own pottery pieces they have pottery wheels and they teach classes. They are very knowledgeable and always helpful.

SPUN is the bombdotcom! We cannot wait to go back! My mom was visiting from Texas for over a week, and SPUN was her favorite activity-- more than Leavenworth, the Olympia Farmers Market, and Point Ruston! April, Jennifer, and Jerome are incredibly patient and accommodating teachers and the atmosphere is chill with quirky decór and signage. This is my new recommendation when people ask what they should do in Tacoma. Thank you, SPUN for helping create memories to last a lifetime!

Im writing this review for my 5 year old who is the true pottery lover in the family. He loves coming down to Spun and making cups and bowls with Jennifer and April. They truly make him feel welcome and help him bring out his creativity.

Great place! They are great at teaching pottery, and are free with the use of the studio and tools once people have been trained. Excellent value!

Spun is a super fun, super reasonably priced art experience. The ladies who own it are very fun and friendly and create a relaxed vibe that was perfect for learning something new. Went here for my birthday, and loved it! Such a fun atmosphere! They help you create the project you want, and they don’t make you feel dumb when you struggle! Great place.

Had a great time and the hands on tutorial is great. I had no experience with clay and my coffee mug turned out great. This will now be a regular activity of mine!

A welcoming clay art studio with excellent hands on personal classes to learn spinning in the wheel. Reasonable open studio time prices if you need a place to spread out and get messy with someone elses tools, and great price on glazing/firing items too.
