This is one of the most underrated and (thankfully) undervisited parks in Seattle. Mt. Fuji cherry trees, the Yukimidoro stone lantern and a view of Mt. Rainier to the south all make this park a tranquil and serene place to sit, walk or think. The lantern and the cherry trees were both a gift of Seattles sister city- Kobe, Japan. What makes it even more unique and special is the fact that this meditative beauty runs alongside the almost always congested freeway. Check it out, and I promise you wont be disappointed. :)

Kobe Terrace is a fantastic place to view the blossoming cherry trees gifted to Seattle by Seattles sister city Kobe, Japan. While you are there, you can also take a peek around at the neighborhood community garden. Note that while most areas of this small park have paved ramped walk ways, the descent into the community garden is a little steep. I give 4 out 5 stars for this tucked away park as I find its design limits visibility.

Seems like the city has forgotten this time park is theirs, too! The park needs serious attention, garbage all over the place. Very dirty and unsafe for kids since uncapped needles are exposed throughout the place. The only good side of it is the south view. Old buildings of DT and Jose Rizel bridge in one frame.

Has some promise but seems mostly like a homeless camp. Freeway noise on the east and trees on the west limit the views.

Such an amazing little space beauty, handiwork, trees, gardens, and homeless all fit into this little space without much tension. I was comfortable walking, senior residents were walking, but others are clearly uncomfortable and with good reason for caution and to stay alert with closeness to potential danger from transients and drugs.

Very pretty when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, even more awesome when a breeze blows the flower petals around. The view of SODO is also quite nice. Kind of hard to ignore the unkempt that hang around though.

Its an interesting park, connected to the Danny Woo Community Gardens. Its on a hill with some interesting nooks here and there. A slight hum of noise from I-5, but otherwise it can be a peaceful place to relax in the shade.

Went to this park on a Thursday morning, was very disappointed. Perhaps we went in the wrong season. Things looked pretty unkempt and after encountering a couple different homeless groups that had camps there, we left. Never made it anywhere with good views.
