It is stunning architecturally. Think the real enjoyment comes in who you are going to see. Ive been here many times and the acts have always been fantastic! Most recently my best girlfriend and I saw David Foster. He was exceptional! Many times he was close enought that we could literally reach out and touch him! What an experience and a night!

After multiple visits sitting in the mezzanine, the sound quality was hit or miss. All of the shows have had wonderfully talented people in them but not hearing every word in the musicals was a bummer. Other than that they have been wonderful date nights, friendly staff and tolerable lines for bathrooms and concessions.

5 stars, another wonderful evening at The Paramount Theatre. I starting going here as a young child and still love a night out in the emerald city. Some people complain about the lower level bathroom, but come on this gem was built in 1920’s. There is so much detail on the ceiling and walls, they are just breathtaking. If you go, take it all in. You never know when this piece of history may slip away, it’s WICKED or is it a sweet delight.

The shows without a doubt are amazing, but this review is strictly about the theatre. The theatre itself could use a touch of pain, the seats need to be replaced. They have a great shopping area and very fast pace attentive staff, the bars inside are really shabby looking and the variety of drinks and food are quite limited. The lines are extremely light and the chandeliers are amazing, other light fixtures should be replaced. Again the shows I highly recommend seeing, honestly well done.

The Donna Summer musical production was phenomenal! Powerful, beautiful and bold story of Donna Summers life and a must see musical! The performance of the entire cast was seamlessly blended while catching a glimpse of the three main time periods of her life. The three women cast as Ms Summer had me dancing in my seat and on my feet in solidarity as they performed her story. They took my breath away with each song; the purity, power and strength in their voices. The ensemble was perfection in motion. They were so alive with the dynamic, fun, strong choreographed movements. The entire production, from story, song, movement was so wonderfully performed by this cast of artists. Also, a huge appreciation for the sound technicians at the Paramount for their work.

Everything about the experience was phenomenal. The staff were attentive and cheerful. You can bring your purchased beverages into the theatre!! Such a perk. The seating is reasonably comfortable. They have a $25 ticket lottery before every performance. I went on a Wednesday when not too many people were showing up for the lottery, so my friend and I wooon! Front row tickets!!! My first time here. Came to see Phantom of the Opera. Absolutely loved this experience! The Paramount is a beautiful theater!! It doesnt appear that theyre is a bad seat in the house. I was in the level 2 Mez center and could see the show perfectly. As a larger woman, I was worried about the seating. However, the seats were actually fairly comfortable, considering. They also offer additional cushion for comfort. The only problem would be little leg room. There were at least 4 bars that I could see serving a variety of drinks and snacks. When purchasing tickets, I purchased a parking ticket in a nearby garage. I would definitely recommend that since parking downtown is hard to find and can be expensive. All in all a great experience and I cant wait to see another show there!

Such a great venue and every show Ive seen here is amazing. Ive sat all over the theater (tonight just happened to be third row seats) and its a great show no matter where youre seated. Not to mention the theater is historic. Paramount is such a beautiful theater. I went last week to see Foals and the first hour, before they got on stage, I was lost in Lalaland admiring the intricacy of the building. It’s beautiful. We had seats in the second platform and I felt like I was still very close to the stage. Sound was good when Foals played. The first two bands had their mics too low and I couldn’t really understand what they were singing. Bathrooms were everywhere and concessions were in every level too. Would definitely go back for another concert.

The building is beautiful. Sound was great. Production was SUPERB. Why 4 stars? The seats are so narrow I felt like I was cheek to cheek with my neighbor and I didnt really want to be. I mean, overall, I endured her loud gum chewing in my ear and the temperature of her body uncomfortably close to mine, because we were both there for a common cause and Im sure she didnt want her experience to be ruined. In all seriousness, every single thing about this theatre is top notch in my opinion. Good, long-standing theater in the heart of Seattle. Easy to access location with plenty of parking around. Would love to see a bathroom attendant to point out open stalls as there were several open when I got to the front of the line (which went up two flights of stairs and spanned three floors). Had the most amazing time at the Paramount watching Steve Martin and Martin Short. They were fantastic and if you ever get the time to see them... GO! Now enough about that this review is about the Paramount. We Uber’d down there and I suggest that if you go in the future. Traffic in Seattle is usually a nightmare around events so loose the stress, and just Uber. The theater is excellent and impossibly clean for how many petiole were there. They had it organized down to a science for entering and exiting the building. They are up to date with QR scanners for digital tickets, not all places are that up to date. The bathrooms were big enough for all the women so there was very little to no wait time, ladies rooms are always so busy and you almost expect to wait at big events. The bars were busy as expected, but they sure do make the drinks good and the wait wasn’t too bad. Little tip, just buy the to-go cup they offer. It really is the best value and you can take it in the concert hall, other wise you’re drink is smaller and not as full. All in all I loved every minute of it and they place showcased them very well.
