Saw a friends play here earlier this year made from a book he wrote. The interpretation was very good. The space was boho enough to look sparse, which the play needed for its subject matter and soft seats! A nicely-sized board theater that made my mind go back in time to what early vaudeville theaters used to be - not fancy at all yet, just any space to perform!

Saw The Merchant of Venice. Outstanding performance. Was disappointed to have watched first half in lobby on monitor. Center Theatre is not well marked on signage and it took me too much extra time to find its location. I wasn’t the only one who had this issue.

A small and intimate venue. Very creative use of props. Home of the Seattle Shakespeare Company. Very reasonable in price. New seats put in this year were a welcome upgrade.
