Fairly steep grade at several points; DO NOT expect to push a baby stroller up this, it isnt a good idea, especially if it rolls away downhill. Speaking from experience, it IS entirely conquerable on a bike, but youd better have low-low gearing and good traction (think mid-fat/plus to fatbike tires) to make the grade. Downhill is an absolute blast, watch for hikers and other riders, not to mention the many Deer on the hillsides. Plenty of great views when the snog isnt so thick

A nice hike to reach inspiration point. Scenery is nice and so is the view. The benches at the top are a nice place to relax and take a break. The best view is right befoee you reach the top where the benches are aince there are less bushes and trees blocking the view.

Peaceful rolling hills. Mostly open space with sparse trees. More trees higher up the hills. Hikers and cows share the trails, but cows seem to like going to bathroom on the trail.

Theres a lot to see here, take your time and hike up the hills for a great view of no humans!

Im a volunteer in the park and am helping to remove non-native plants and plant natives from seed collected in the park. Im slowly seeing evidence that our work is paying off. We hope to make it a wonderful spot for people to view the scenery as well as the native flora and fauna. Attached is a picture of a type of native grass that was completely obscured by non-native thistle.

Good hike. Was surprised to see so much green even in summer. Views were good, not mind blowing or anything.

Meh. Just a point from where you can see the city far far away. Take a break sit down and enjoy the shade on a sunny day.

Nice easily hike. Can get busy in the weekends on the main trails but lots of harder, less people crammed hikes to do.

A big peaceful park with lots of options. Creeks, hills, and some shade. Free parking in the lower levels, 6 bucks if you go to the top parking lot.

Inspiration Point has great views of the valley, and a good variety of native plants.There are Valley Oaks, Blue Oaks and Coast Live Oaks. In the spring there is Fiesta Flower, Sticky Monkeyflower, several Lupines and Globe Lilly.
