Great hours, not overly crowded, friendly, helpful staff. It was a safe environment, masks were mandatoryI was pleasantly surprised to find a section reserved for dining outdoors. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and cocktails. The food was amazingly delicious!!

Having never been there before, we were expecting a real casino, but it is a giant card room with poker, blackjack, and other card games. No machines. We walked around and found a nice restaurant. The food was great and they have craft beers. Nice for a visit.

Went to dine at the Province, restaurant attached to the casino so this is a review of the dining. Parking is ample. We sampled the happy hour menu which had a good selection of apps and drinks. The food is fusion. Had the spicy shrimp, seafood tacos, and the steamed buns. All were good although the steamed buns should have been warmer. Service was not so good. Had to flag the server several times and she always seemed distracted. The happy hour runs to 7pm which is an added plus.

Came in to relax and watch a football game, there were not too many people in the restaurant and bar area, so we got all of the servers attention! It was not a particularly comfortable place, but the appetizers were tasty. best value on a coffee in the Bay area because between the restaurant and the casino is a little coffee bar where they serve a cup of Starbucks for $1.

A lot of parking , tables are clean . Staff is not friendly but it s ok.

It was a last minute choice.The dining room was cold in temperature and ambience. The food choice was limited and I choose by default. It was mediocre.The fries with pork belly were good, though.The restrooms are in the casino which I did not like. Not going again.

Played poker there. Dealers were good. Food and food service were both very good. The Rake was quite pricey. Other than that, only good things to say.

The place is very pretty but its just a card house. There is only one bar service from the Province restaurant. However, there are food and bar host and hostesses everywhere to fetch your gastronomical delights! Sadly, no more DJ music at the Province Restaurant. Bummer. Unless cards is your thing, not much going on here.

Me an my husband come here often...Reason for the one star is lack of customer service skills. Im a pregnant woman an they wouldnt allow me to get a chair to sit because i wasnt playing at any of the tables. So i just ended up waiting in my car.As opposed to the matrix casino were as soon as we are seated im given a chair.

I usually leave here with more cash than I came with. My personal preference over ZThe Matrix. I suggest playing 3 card poker or blackjack, and make sure you play the bonus spots, thats what lays out.

The Province at Bay101 is the restaurant/ club attached to the casino. The bottled beers were cold but tasted a little off. The mixed drinks were really good, worth the $13 bucks. The vibe of the club was a bit mixed. Not many people dancing, but decent dj and it has a cool aesthetic.

Your always taking a chance but I came home $600 more then I left home with the last time. Gotta love it

Bay 101 Casino Shooting Star Tournament turned out to be a huge let down! How do you screw this up!1. Card room with 50 tables were all full at capacity and the wait list takes forever.2. Cramped table area and impossible service for food and refreshments. Service is very slow and their extreme lack of professionalism is embarrassing. Cant get a simple menu order correct, cant get a drink order right. 1 hour to order food, both times without a fork and knife and had to wait 30 minutes plus.3. Some of the staff are poorly incompetent, and no matter how sexualized they are its not enough to primarily serve HIGH ROLLERS $12 drinks.4. Women with tattoos and ATM withdrawals. The fish have to wait for hours to order food.

Waited 30 minutes later called for service we both waited another 20 minutes. Friday nights and Saturday nights are very busy, Monday night service was slow overall. I understand if your busy but with 5 people it should not be that slow. As workers were talking in back, to be served. You could tell our server forgot our food.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff showed me how to play the games and some even gave me pointers on strategy. I had a very good time.

Nice ambiance in the The Province restaurant. Since we visited during Happy Hour, the server recommended we sit at the bar to take advantage of it. Ordered the spicy fried calamari and garlic fries, both highly acclaimed. It took forever for the order to come. Also ordered a dessert, which was never delivered. Plating was nice and the sauces were great, but the service has plenty of room to grow.

Bay 101 newly and upgraded building is way better than the old one. It has a better vibe to it and with the Province Restaurant next door it is attracting more young people ready to party and that is a sight for sore eyes.It used to be a casino full of old players (mostly asian) but now the population is more even in terms of age and gender.Definitely they took note from Matrix Casino and made all the efforts to compete in terms of atmosphere and the ambiance.

It’s a really nice place but the service is absolutely horrible, I honestly do not know how these waitresses are still employed! Nothing but lazy, only work for anyone who has money. Sad.

My first time in, the blackjack table looked interesting so I sat down I lost about 1400 and I was down to my last $70. I took a hit card and busted I was going to walk away but the dealer told me to stay because I might get my money back? I guess they have this cool rule where if you bust you have a chance to get your money back if the dealer busts too. Because of that I ended up getting all of my money back plus more. I dont really like the $1 to play but I guess California is different. Im from Mid west so its a little different. I did not try the food I was just in and out. Thankful for that bust advantage because I left winning. The dealer was very kind, I think her name was Lena or Linda. Not sure, but she had faith I was going to get my money back plus more and I definitely did. Will come back and try the food when I visit again.

The new casino is beautiful and the food is top notch, Great family friendly atmosphere at the restaurant, make sure you get out to the patio and enjoy the bag toss games that are available OR ask for the patio heaters to be turned on, if your the only soul out there, the staff is more than accommodating. We just went for dinner since we dont gamble, but a quick cruise through the game floor was in order. Very impressed, what an upgrade from the previous building.

The bay!! Lol cool place to have a drink watch the sharks games and double up your money.. Being a San Jose native born and raised.. I find myself here a couple days out of the month..Only a handful of staff i interact with, the others not so much.. But they all seem to be cool in my book.. If ever in town and feelin LUCKY, head on over and place your bets!!

Minus rating with my stay here, I only came here to play wpt poker-tournament. Came here from Sacramento, wont be coming back. Rather pay for Reno with amenities then come back here!Minuses: Not capable of handling tournament. Management forgot about customers and good service, the only thing theyve upgraded is profitable. Everything always had a thirty-five minute wait or longer. Nothing ran efficiently. As far as the staff go, most of the employees were not professional with acceptable customer service. Despite having several servers at the bar we wait at least 1/2 hr to struggle to get a server to our table, then another 1/2 hr to 45 minutes of asking Where are our orders? Over 1 1/2 hours to be told what we had was not available. The server never got our order close to correct, assuming they even come back to the table. Bought a Paloma for $14, the alcohol flavor is just gin! Despite multiple requests for napkins and utensils to eat our food, servers do not bring them. Very disappointing when you pay for and receive poor level service.Food is mediocre and over priced 1 hour to get a $15 drinkThe only positive thing was the overall decor of the building.

Only rated 3 stars because I dont play much of cards. Bay 101 is a Card House. If you like to bet and know your cards this would be pretty ideal place for you. Ive gone several times with my best friend who loves an occasional card game. Weather it be noon, midnight, or even 4am there has always been people in there filling the numerous gambling tables of differing card games.

They murdered me on the BJ table. It was gruesome was how bad it was. 150 gone in less than 20min. So if you feel lucky go give it a try. But honestly this is my place to go cause they do a special request and havent said no yet. But also Im not trying to play it out

Played the 4/8 hold-em table. $6 drop per hand seems excessive. Floorman seemed more attentive to the no-limit tables than the 4/8 games. No enough food/drink tables. Prefer not to play poker with the drink holder next to my chips.

Played there a couple of weeks ago. I was in town for the Detroit Lions/49ers game. Played 1/2/3 no limit hold em for about an hour and a half. Won about $500 in that span and left. Gotta love being an unknown player at a new casino. They try to bluff me but it wont work.

Great customer service! Casino War was not available when I walked in but as soon as I asked they promptly set up a table so I could play.

Very very disappointed waited for about 1hr and 40 minutes to get called to a table so I get called I clearly heard my name and also checked the screen to make sure it was me so I walk up there ask the guy which table is available and he radios it in to check for my name and gets confirm but no table available yet so tells me to wait so I wait again and I check the screen and my name is back to the bottom of the list I was like heck no.. so I just decided to leave and not come back there no more maybe just for the bar area cause they were very friendly and nice there while I was waiting

Modern update compared to old location, but feels a bit smaller.

Tables much too close and floor area was unkempt. Loads of thrown trash including drinking glasses and snot rags strewn under every table.English only rule during card play was completely ignored and unforced even when complaining directly to floor person.The bright side is lots of loose play and free wheeling gamblers. Skill was not a prerequisite just a little luck and you could build quite a nice stack.Try the 8/16 hold em. For the adventurous the 20/40 also offers extraordinary action.Good luck

If I could give this place negative stars, it would have many. This place is very good at making money by cheating. The dealers cheat every chance they get. If you dont know how to play or keep a very sharp eye, dont play here.

Parking based on time of day. Expect a long wait at busy times list for poker. As everyone knows service wait up to 2 to 3 hours. Lacking horrible staff took forever and pretty much forgot about us. Calamari, buffalo wing and beef fried rice was okay but greasy. It took 40 minutes until after ordered when the server came with a margarita. It took another 20 minutes before we get our food. Tables close and floor area trash at every table. A bit crowded too way smaller than in Vegas.

Nice local casino. Great staff. But be carefull at the tournament. A lot of players conspiring together. Not the casinos fault. Happens everywhere.

Nice bar. Drinks were reasonable. We should have looked it first though. This place only has card games - no slots or other traditional casino games. So if youre really into poker or blackjack, then this is the place for you.

Casino building is new and the furniture is nice. But thats about it. Its the same tired looking staff and food service is terrible. They even charge for coffee now. Poker chips are sticky (yuck!) and the rake is $6 per hand. The competition across the street has amazingly warm and cheerful staff, coffee is free and food service is superb.

The worst Casino Restaurant I ever saw in my Life. The Manager of the Restaurant is incompetent, the Food tastes awful, the service is slow and they forget more or less everytime anything. Prices for Food are high and sometimes u smell a Mixture of old fried fat and old Fish in the Casino. In the Poker room are no free Drinks. U have to pay for Coffee. Just Water is free. Rake is higher in Poker. Definitely not to recommend.

Drinks are super weak. They are watered down! Had a few vodka tonics and a kamikazee.. yeah, they sucked. You might as well drink beer from a bottle. The ambiance is great, but thats about it..
