All outside gambling and dining due to covid. Friendly staff and lunch was good.

It’s a cool casino. Atmosphere is chill. Dealers are friendly but there was this pretty blonde Asian banker who was like the most friendly and sweet person. Always liked being on her table think her name was linda. I go back there now with a few friends and we don’t see her anymore ️

I could be wrong, I do think they were at a previous location and moved. I must admit I didnt think I was going to stay, I was just walking around, checking things out. Then, then I saw a beautiful, attractive Asian gal that works there. OK, I can stay. A great selection of food.

Great place to unwind have some games some food some drinks and even in the new normal theyve been able to adapt and still have a great time.

This place is very busy yet the staff were all over it! The menu is huge, offering just about every type of cuisine. I was very excited to see Vietnamese food and was not disappointed at all. Very well priced and worth the trip into the casino.

It was cute. But not much to offer for choices. And wasnt a fan of having a banker bet on all table games.

Went here twice after reopening and amazed how they can pull off with all the restrictions, however, the floor persons werent really nice, maybe the pandemic got into them, they were really rude and threatened to kick me out while I was just standing there. 1 particular male floor person at night even told me to go home or just go across to the other casino, not really a good customer experience.

Best sports bar and grill. They have a wide variety of food from American to Asian to Mexican. I needed a quick grab and go and they were open. The staff was quick to acknowledge my presence and took my order. The food was amazing. Will definitely go back there again.

We went to their restaurant and chicken wings are good, the hamburger we had it was tasty. There was this guy from jaggermaister givin free shots.We had a great time, casino is huge and enough parking lot.

Not a lot of poker tables. Could be very long to get a seat. And for a couple of chips, regs go up in the queue. This is frustrating. Good dealers, good ambiance overall

The security supervisor was rude and disrespectful to my client whos a patient with San Andreas Reginal Center. Which deals with those with developmental disability. Intellectual disability to specify.

I came here once before and got a burger. It was okay and I cant say that it was anything memorable. However, today i am insulted by the food they decided to bring out and label as edible .I ordered a bar classic, fish and chips. The presentation was terrible! There were three tiny shreds of thinly sliced over soaked fish sitting on a massive bed of fries. The fish was soggy and not crispy at all. To top it off the fries were over salted and just as soggy as the fish. It was horrible. No part of my meal was edible. I payed my tab and left. I dont think Ill be back.

I have been to this place several times and food never disappoints me. The other important aspect is its close proximity to the offices so lunch is an option if you want to walk an explore it on your own.

All the dealers are old and cant distribute the card in poker table on fast track. There is no promotion in this casino. Some of the staff are good , but over all poker dealers are so old to meet the requirements

Fun place to get away and have some fun! The staff is friendly and the restaurants inside are fab.

It takes a little while to get use to how california plays cards but the dealers are nice and friendly. Food stand out far above the rest. Come during their happy hour and you will leave happy without breaking the bank (the tables will do that for you ha)

I would have given 5 stars, but because you have to pay to play table games; i.e., if you play Blackjack for $10 a hand, you actually pay a total of $11.$10 to Play +$1 to the house. No perks, comps, nada.Food was exceptional. Staff was professional and the ambiance nice.

It was clean and smoke free. I wasnt there for gambling. I was attending a presentation. The food served was excellent and the service was very good.

I don’t gamble. But I do come to have dinner in their sports bar. I usually prefer the steak which is fantastic, but this time I was craving some tenders, boy was I disappointed. The tenders are just frozen outta the bag ordinary tenders. Better going to a fast food for cheaper better chicken tenders. I even asked the the bartender if they were the generic frozen tenders. She reassured me they were raw chicken tenders and battered when I ordered them.

5 stars on how fun it is, 5 stars on the respect to high spenders. Id say the dealers are mostly great and helpful. But a few are so rude and mean, and cold, its surprising they dont need security to make sure they get to out of the parking lot safely. . Black Jack has very great side bets that are hit often and pay incredibly well.

Ok, while most people might comment on the amenities and the games, I am telling you the sushi is amazing, I had fun just hanging for a while for dinner and a little 3 card poker.

Vegas metro mordern styling. Space between tables, not crowded layout. Cheap drinks and good food. Not a gambler, havent played card there. Cant say anything in that regard.

Also here for a drink and a quick few hands testing out my luck. Always a good time regardless if i win or lose.

Really watch your payouts on 3 card poker bonuses and blackjack bonuses like dealer match, and lucky lucky. they tend to pay you wrong every time unless you catch them.. I experienced this last Friday I was short a $150 on a pay out at 3 card poker... I told them to review the tape since I was the only one at the table... It is still under review. They sure take your money though, With little to no effort... So when you get lucky, and get a big hand.. You expect to be paid Correctly.. I guess the rumors are true that the matrix is in debt... Be very careful at the matrix

I am not a gambler. I go for the food and hockey but Zone 8 restaurant is only worth it during happy hour for me

Very clean and entertaining venue. Staff was very friendly and welcoming with the exception of one security person who was very rude. I had brought a friend from Dubai (who spent a lot more money than I was comfortable with, but he was having fun). This security person was walking around securing drinks due to last call. Having worked security myself, I understand this sometimes becomes a tough task as guests can be difficult, but your frustrations shouldnt be taken out on others. Anyway, that is why the three star rating. Other than that incident, all went well.

Not only known for their interesting commercials, Casino M8trix is actually a fairly nice stop and as far as I know, 1 of only 2 actual Casinos in the major San Jose metro. Parking is ample with plenty of space. The building itself is a lovely architectural landmark for the heart of Silicon Valley- you cant miss it driving on the 101 or 237. The inside is lavish with different sections for activities, gambling, food, dining, socializing. They have a full panel of different games, roulette my personal favourite. There is a sports bar towards one end of the casino and another a-la-carte style cafe at the other end in case you ever get hungry. They have everything from hand made sushi, to noodle soups, to sandwiches and coffee, lattes, mochas etc. Security is good, providing a sense of reassurance as San Jose can be rough sometimes. The casino itself is just across from the Double Tree hotel and also next to other eateries in case their own dining options dont quite fit your needs. Nifty casino to head to any time of the week.

After over 40 min finally got my food. Calamari cold. Pretty sure pieces were still frozen. Nachos came out burnt and cold? How? I dont even know. I ordered it with carne asada and not one piece of meat. Im sitting here still starving after almost an hour. And wait staff is impossible to get the attention of. I should have just got some McDonalds....haha...waitress just came back and said I thought you said carnitas not carne asada. Well considering theres zero meat on this plate I dont think that even matters. *face palms*Took away my plate and now just brought it back. They are gonna bring me carne asada on the side. Guess they dont want to remake ot. Whatever I just want food. Not wait for 30+ more minutes. Nachos have gotten even colder than my soul.The carne asada isnt bad...but they brought me new cheese for my cold nachos...and its cold yall..the fresh hot cheese is cold.

If youre not worried about winning money and dont mind losing a lot this place is okay. But my feeling is that is one of the most losingest place in most of the California card rooms. The foods not bad and sometimes they have live bands its usually a pretty happening scene on the weekends just not the casino part thats a lose most of the time I would say 90% of the time.

When our family is SUPER HUNGRY & cant decide on what wed like to eat, we can all agree to come eat HERE. Their menu has a variety of different foods; Sandwiches, Pizzas, Sushi, Pho, Chow Mein, Pastas, Desserts, but for the 1st time we noticed they have a different menu after a certain time, and that menu was a lot smaller.Parking is ok, its a casino.Our server/waitress tonight was Andrea, service was great. Food didnt take long to come out. Drinks were refreshing, and Andrea did great staying on top of refills, she refilled & replaced before we could even ask for them.Our food tasted DELICIOUS just as we expected it to. My kid got chicken tenders that were a bit hard for her to eat, but Andrea was able to consult with her manager to take it off our bill. I guess they have a different menu after a certain time which is new for us so we decided to just settle with the tenders taken off the bill.The other 3 of us dug in & ate our plates CLEAN.If you love steak you should definitely try the filet mignon sauce over it with mashed potatoes.Portions are more than filling. Tonight would make it about more than 10 times since weve chosen this place this year, and weve yet to be disappointed by anything.PRETTY PRICEY BUT WORTH IT.

Cant say much about the gambling since I didnt come for the table games. Came here to watch the Warriors game. Security guard wasnt friendly but the valet attendant, waitresses were all friendly and had smiles on their faces. Food was decent, but definitely wont come here just for that. They have tons of TV to watch any sports games.

I went to visit this place on 09/01/19. a few people in my party where taking a photo with a sports car at the entrance. upon arrival into the casino for the first time ever, my party of 5 was greeted with security and asked to leave. They said that our Designated Driver was intoxicated and fell into the sports car. no one fell into a sports car, They were taking pics for Instagram. They told us that we were on camera, upon request of the footage, the declined us access to see this so called video. my party of 4 ladies and my self were rudely confronted and turned away from matrix as our first and last time going there. dont go here, unless you want to be turned away on allegations.

The parking is good, the restaurants have excellent food at affordable prices. The casino is clean with friendly staff.

Did not check out the actual casino but spent time at the restaurant and watched games on multiple TVs. Good service, good food and good beer. 3 stars because I got what I expected and it was a pleasant experience. Nothing great but a place I would visit again.

Went here on a Saturday night, was oddly slow for a weekend. Food was alright, service a bit slow. Love the variety on the menu.

All our prior group events here were great, but this time the staff was not at the top of their game. The ran out of silverware, then they ran out of plates and salad. By the time they got silverware and plates, they were out of the entree. The food was delicious when it was finally served.

I give a three star rating because gambling here was not as profitable as other casinos I have been to but Im not sure if this is due to local law or just casino policy. Id never encountered a betting fee (not sure if thats the correct term) before, which makes it expensive for low stake players like me. Also, some of the odds were less favourable than other places, particularly on blackjack.Surprised not to find a roulette table but this place seemed to focus more on card games and slots.The food in the bar is good and reasonable. No complaints there.

Food was good and varied. Staff seemed a little stretched thin for a Friday night. That being said the kitchen selection for late night Friday was great, and it was an interesting place to grab a late dinner.
