Great course...really enjoyed it. There is 3 different 9 holes courses so each time you play it is a different combination. Each 9 is a bit different. Course is in great shape. Beautiful views as you go through the rolling hills. Kinda of in the middle of no where so no houses or buildings near by. Carts are nice with GPS inside. Will definitely be back...one of my favorite courses in the bay now.

Not for the faint of heart. This is a really tough course! If you are accustomed to.. Harding Park...this will blow you away.The hills are alive! Best friend has organized numerous tournaments - great staff - good Pro Shop. Three 9 hole courses...beware of the ravines, the posion oak...

Great Golf course and well maintained green. Played hill and canyon course, the canyon course is challenging especially a up jimmy par 4 at hole 16 I think. The hole 15 is Long par 5 and is challenging. The last 18 hole that tee off from the mountain into the clubhouse is challenging.. you need to hit hard to cross the big ravine especially when you play into wind! Overall a great course to play and I enjoyed it!

This is an awesome golf course. Greens roll fast, course is well maintained. Tons of variety. Very nice club house and practice area. Staff was friendly and helpful. The view is simply incredible. There are 27 holes so you basically pick two of the tracks for a round. I’ve played all 27 and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Course is located about 30 minutes from the airport. Uber will travel here.

Decided to play a 9 hole getaway round here and they put me on the Canyon course. What a fun layout and great views at hole #8 and #9. The conditions were nice and the greens were super slick! It was only a 35 minute drive from Sunnyvale and was perfect for my getaway round before leaving town. The course has a nice pro shop, gps in the carts, and really good conditions.

Great Venue (from a photographer!) Cinnabar Hills is GORGEOUS, and makes a photographers job easy! The golf course has beautiful light for romance portraits, and the reception space is light and bright, with lots of room to move around. Love this place. Great golf course with 27 different golfers (they switch off using 2 different 9 holes each day). Great condition with tricky sloped greens. Great layout in the hills of San Jose. Feels like you are in a rural area. Little pricey for public golf but worth it

Great food very reasonable prices and a nice view. Had the short rib pho-nelomenal pho, being vietnamese we were skeptical but it was really good. Came with all the veggie fixings minus siracha & hoisin sauce, but didnt ask so they might have it. Pastrami sandwich did not disappoint, the pastrami is very thinly sliced which is how I prefer my pastrami. Marble rye was nicely toasted. Great flavors. Will be back again

Best bay area golf course by far from my perspective. Beautiful views, no houses anywhere to be seen, fun and challenging golf, tasty food (Clubhouse on marble rye and crispy chicken salad is my wife and my standard order). Who could ask for more?

What a gem in the South Bay! The fairways are manicured better then some greens on golf courses on the mid-peninsula. This is a challenging course but has many open fairways. Greens are fast but true. The up and down is extreme in places and makes for additional excitement. If you only want a walk in the park stick to the flatland courses but if you want a golfing experience come and enjoy this course

Brilliant course. Well maintained. Has three 9 holes. The one called Canyon is small but narrow fairways. You wont fail to enjoy yourself.

Challenging and picturesque golf course with 27 holes. Easy to get to.

Three radically different nines available at the 27-hole Cinnabar golf club. Each has its own unique personality, especially the Canyon nine. Huge elevation changes, and some really interesting and challenging holes. All three nines have firm, fast and rather tricky greens. Overall, Cinnabar is a really good test of golf, and with the mix and match of the three different nines, it rarely plays the same way twice. The clubs restaurant serves up delicious food, and there bar has several good beers on draft.

Best public course in bay area. Course is always in excellent condition. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Great views away from the hustle and bustle. This place has everything you need!

We just completed our 32nd annual golf tournament at Cinnabar Hills. We go to different courses around Calif. for three days, and hadnt been in the San Jose area for 12 years. Over our 32 years, Ive dealt with 60+ golf courses. The course was absolutely beautiful! Despite how difficult some of our players found it, esp. having never played it, which slowed down play, the staff was kind and respectful. I would rank Adam and his staff among the TOP FIVE tournament directors Ive ever dealt with, esp. considering his/their professionalism, organizational skills, and assistance with scoring, awards luncheon, etc. Every i was dotted and every t was crossed... very rare during hectic weekends at popular golf courses.One of our players, a scratch golfer, commented that Cinnabar Hills was his best course hes ever played... surpassing Pebble Beach in beauty and the many fun and challenging course hes played since he was a kid all over the Country.My sincere gratitude to Adam, his staff and the greens keeper for making this such a special weekend!

Well kept golf course, the 3 9 holes are in prestige condition. As always staff are nice. Food in the restaurant is delicious.

Incredible condition! Every hole a real treat . Spectacular scenery and excellent practice facilities . Range opens at sun rise on some days so its possible to warm up before an early tee time.Good pace of play and carts equipped with GPS hole guidance.The greens have some tricky slopes and require careful reading and good pace.I could not find any fault with this great course. Best value I have found so far.

Flew into San Jose from New Jersey for work and of course had to get a round of golf in. Cinnabar was highly recommended so we booked a foursome. We showed up early and had an amazing breakfast then played Lake and Canyon. The condition of the course and pace of play truly made our experience an A+. We had lunch on the patio and the bartenders/servers were too notch! We will be back!

I played here as part of a golf tournament over the summer. I found it to be in wonderful shape with some very interesting and challenging holes. There were stunning views from several points on the course. The staff here did a great job.

We came out to San Jose from Canada for our girls golf trip and this was an absolutely gorgeous golf course and quite challenging. Such amazing views from the Cannon course. Definitely will play it again

Cinnabar is a challenging golf course, but very well maintained. I would say it is the best golf course in the South Bay.

Course is in great shape. Very hilly. Not meant for old guys like me. Lots of climbing up and down.

Well we had such a poor experience here and luckily we were able to cancel our tee time through golf now a couple hours before. This was our final round of golf we had scheduled before heading back to LA and we got to the course earlier then expected. We checked into the pro shop and my wife then went back in to see if we could tee off any earlier. The guy in the shop said no and that they were pretty much fully booked the next couple hours. She even offered to pay the difference but they still said no since the tee time was prepaid.So we say thats fine and I go to warm up, which is near the number one tee. I was there for about thirty - forty minutes and realized only about two groups teed off during that time. So I went on golf now to see if there were any times available and there were plenty of tee times before our tee time!! Out of frustration and not wanting to spend my money there due to poor customer service, we were luckily able to cancel our reservation with golf now and headed back to LA.Theres too many nicer golf courses to put up with this kind of service. I certainly will never come back.

Course is very well maintained. Challenging layout given its short length at about 6300-6500 yards. Greens can be quite fast and firm, but roll true. Lake/Canyon

Outstanding course. Beautiful scenery in the hills and a very well maintained course. 3 nine hole courses so you could play 2 different 9 holes for the full 18 each time you come out. The course is very challenging and a lot of fun with great bunkers and challenging greens. The restaurant has good food with good service as well.

I come here for lunch every so often with friends from work. They seem to be able to accommodate us any time.. 3 of us or 15 of us. The food is surprisingly varied and good! From brie burgers to banh mi to pasta to your basic club sandwich. And house made potato chips! Yay! And, really, what could be better than having lunch in the middle of all the green grass?

Played here 7/31/19 and the greens were sanded (heavily). This made putting a joke. My son and I paid $56.00 a piece. I think that is full price. Anyway, it felt way too expensive for the condition the course was in. My friend set this up so Im guessing they advised him of the sanding idk. Ive played on lightly sanded courses but this was not the case here. If they say its sanded dont play or get a discount!

Best golf course and not easy.

Beautiful golf course that is a tough test for golfers of all skill levels. The greens always putting very well and I always enjoy coming out here for the scenery. The staff in the pro shop is great. We played most recently on a Sunday and our round was very slow for the first nine, so once we reached our back nine, the man working the pro shop called us in and sent us off on the mountain course since the canyon course was super backed up. We were very thankful he did this for us because it easily saved an hour on our round and allowed us to enjoy our second nine. Overall, this is by far one of the best golf courses in the South Bay.

Cinnabar Hills was the location of my daughters wedding. They did a fine job on the organizing, food service, and the setting is wonderful. I think that this is a great place for a wedding. We did eat at Cinnabar Hills in their coffee shop a couple of times and we found it to be quite satisfactory also.

Still one of my favorite golf course, with 3 separate 9 holes and a mix of challenging and easier holes. Fairways are generally wide. Lots of elevation changes. Not many trees and therefore not much shade on a hot summer day which is a mixed blessing. The restaurant serves wholesome sandwiches and burgers.

Attended a wedding here. It was a broiling day outside, but the staff was accommodating! Nice location (quiet, clean, away from maddening crowds), good parking and great setting! I have no feel for the costs, but it was a nice venue!
