We moved nearby recently and I now walk around this park at least once a week. What a great park! Lots of trails and different loops you can make. There are cool rocks, steep trails, flat trails, a creek bed, and tons of connections to surrounding neighborhoods. I recommend taking a couple hours and just walking around.

Gem of a hike or walk in SF. Fantastic views if you hike up the twin towers route. Also walked along the canyon which was unexpected in its ruggedness. Will be going back, so much more to see...

Trails here are for all levels of walkers and hikers. We started at south end and took the trails on the hillside to give us some challenges (at all). Got to see some interesting rock outcropping formation. Coming back we simply scrolled the flat trail at bottom of the park. Its wonderful and a privilege to enjoy oases like Glen Canyon Park within city boundary.

Small hike with shaded areas. Lots of tall eucalyptus trees provide cover from the wind. Parking is very limited, less than ten cars probably, but there is street parking if you circle around. Handful of groups using the baseball field for hanging out. There is a more challenging elevation hike to try if you do choose to. The trail has some dust if pets are running through.

One of the more picturesque parks in San Francisco.Supervised by the Department of Parks & Recreations Glen Park Canyon runs from the foot of OShaunessy to the top of Diamond Heights Boulevard. Here you will find huge eucalyptuses & various trees & plants of all sorts.Birds soar everywhere in the canyon including Falcons,Red-Tail Hawks,Crows,Bluejays,Sparrows& you can here the Woodpeckers on occasion. Bees & a load of other insects are all over the park so be careful & use caution.Coyotes are very rarely seen but they are here in the canyon too. Indoor Basketball court, two tennis courts& two softball fields for use for those who play.(Please check with staff in the office)

The park has a good variety of trails - hill with steps and in the trees. There is a river that dogs seem to enjoy running through thats really muddy so they all end up wearing mud boots at the end. Most people are wearing masks or put them on when walking by people and everyone has been polite.

Just a great park. Always here for the tennis courts and hiking with my dog in the canyon. Theres also a rec center and soccer field. The hiking trails are really pretty, with little hidden things to look out for like tiny fairy houses in tree trunks. Parking is a little tricky.

Plenty of parking and a ton of happy, friendly dogs and their owners. The beach in certain sections can be a little dirty due to ash mixture from bonfires but the off-leash allowance is fantastic. This is one of our very fave dog spots in the Bay Area.

Great park for a quick hike/jog or dog walk. Lots of native plants and rocky outcroppings and a creek, nice microclimate in the canyon, you can see the fog breaking up over your head while youre in the sun. Well maintained trail system with a lot of stairs to keep the heart pumping. Baseball diamond, playground and tennis courts at southern end of park, after school and summer programs for kids. Probably my favorite park in the city. Several entrances from the surrounding neighborhoods.

One of the best park in the city which is great place for hiking and being away yet right in the neighborhood. It has a nice recreational building and grounds. This place is really cool. I was planning to read a book here while enjoying the view but I end up climbing a rock. If you want some adventure, you can climb the rock like the third photo or if you want the easy path, you can just go around to the neighborhood and you can enjoy the city view like the 2nd photo. Either way, you can see the same view.
