Another battery worth seeing

Great place to send time with family on weekend. We had a great time. Highly recommended. Parking was also not an issue.

It was our first time here , the views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay are amazing . Many visitors park here on the Merchant Rd parking lot and then walk onto the Golden Gate Bridge.Ive read many articles about SF having a problem with vehicle smash and grab break-ins. When we came back to our vehicle , the police were in the parking lot with two different families . Both of their vehicles , which were parked next to each other , were broken into.( This was on a Monday evening around 6:30pm)Just be careful when you go here and dont leave any valuables in your vehicle . Take them with you and dont leave any bags or back packs in plain sight.

Absolutely awesome forts, really just large gun emplacements, to protect from long range ship canons. Capable of firing shells over 12 miles away.

Good area and angle to take pictures

No luck here either. They were sold out of 9V batteries.
