Great place to take the kids. We had so much fun playing in the creek, and then heading to the playground. It also has a great loop for pushing the stroller or going for your own run (1.32 miles for each loop).

I love sugar house park. So much fun to run here since the park is so big! One lap around the park is about a mile. The little lake could use some TLC since it is a bit dirty. But honestly this park is amazing! Little side note; you can reserve a spot in their community garden once a year and plant whatever you want! Which is super neat!!

Beautiful, spacious, park with a lot of variety in usage: the duck pond area is very peaceful and relaxing, the baseball/softball field area is perfect for a family or friend game day, the many little inlets with covered tables are perfect for get-togethers (many people but it can be outside!!). Very easy access from the freeway and other main roads but it feels very quiet and serene once you are in the park. You hardly remember you are so close to the city. I have come here for picnic dates, parties, and photoshoots and have always had a good time. Parking is also pretty reasonable, which is unexpected for a park.

I had driven past Sugarhouse Park many times and finally had an opportunity to stop and check it out. This is a beautiful park with a great walking/biking path throughout. There is a fun playground and multiple pavilions with picnic tables as well as basketball courts. I wouldnt hesitate to return to the park in the future. There is a small river/steam that runs through the park, so keeping a close eye on young children is a must.

I think everyone knows this park. Be careful of the one way street, but you have every park amenity here. People often go to walk and run around the park. Great pond, places to eat nearby, the pavilions have power... Great playgrounds for kids and large entertaining areas for adults. Been here for so many events in my life with all different kinds of groups. Very dynamic place.

I feel bad placing this review but sugar house park has gone down the drain. This use to be my favorite place to go to get a good workout run, but they need to do something to clean up the park lots of dog poop that owners dont clean up after, the homeless is other problem here the drugs. This place needs a good security watch.

We just moved to Utah, in Sugarhouse. We visited the park today and it was absolutely beautiful and fun! The spot we pulled into to eat a PB&J and play on some equipment was cute, clean, had bathrooms, lots of cool stuff to play on AND bonus: there was a little creek that run ls right behind it. We took our shoes off and played in the water, climbing rocks, and there was two rope swings attached to one of the trees. We had a blast and plan to make it an every week ordeal! Thanks for the beautiful park!

Took my dog here to walk for something different. The trail around the park is easy to walk for an older dog, gentle hills, and plenty of grass for rest stops. Only piece of advice is to go early. As it got more towards 10:00 am the trail became full of runners, walkers, and more than a few other dogs.

Im very pleased with the upgrades done to Sugar House Park. The new Tulip & rock structure designed on the Northwest side of the park is really nice. We walked this trail, it was well marked with exhibits explaining each area, it was quiet and just right for a quick and easy walk to stretch your legs. We really enjoyed this past of the park. Good job on this creation.

Im from Louisiana where there are basically no parks that live up to the parks here in utah. That said, Ive frequented many parks since moving out her and I have to say this one is our favorite! Its very spacious, has hills, and a creek going thru it. Absolutely beautiful! I just wish there were benches around the park to sit on, besides the few around the big pond.

Love the hidden (accessible) for kids of all ages & stages! The ground is spongey & soft, with an area for toddlers. The climbers can have a treat by trying their hand & body on the ropes course. There is swings for all ages & stages including a wonderful ability swing, small kids & larger kids! And it has benches for adults to sit & watch the kids if they dont want to join in-BTW your never too old to join in the fun & swing, climb & jump around!

Is a nice park very extensive. However beware after the recent windstorm the entrances were closed to vehicles yet the park schedule showed as open. There should be a warning online that was closed for vehicle traffic. There is a small offstreet parking lot which would fill up. Also beware even at 10am Sunday on Nov 1st all the toilets were locked. Dont know if this is policy or due to Halloween. So those with kids or other conditions go before they go. Seems could have someone unlock the toilets by 10am on a Sunday. Bogus.

Sugar House Park is really great place to go - especially with kids. Theres a creek, a pond with geese and ducks and several awesome playgrounds. You can fly a kite, ride your bike, jog, or cross the creek on large logs. The park is awesome in all seasons - sledding in the winter is a popular activity. There are clean restrooms, drinking fountains and picnic tables with barbecue pits. Short but adventurous trail takes you to Sugar House Commons shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it !

One of the best parks I’ve been too. It’s great all year round. I run here. I’ve biked here. I’ve flown kites. Played soccer and ultimate frisbee. I’ve attended festivals. I take my son to the upgraded play area. We sled here every winter. Residents of the Sugarhouse area should take advantage of this park. Visitors need to visit. There are great views of then mountains. There are secluded areas for those who look to sunbathe or just relax reading a book etc etc. the facilities are accessible and well maintained as well.

They need to take better care of this park. I was here in the winter with my kids. We wanted to hit a local sledding hill. This hill is HUGE! Great for sledding but can be a little dangerous for young ones (younger than 10). I wish they would plant some evergreen trees to block the busy road. Also, they need to clean up the area. Old sleds and trash were everywhere. Construction was going on too.
