Adorable park, great to just sit and have a little snack!

Nice little well kept park. The oak tree is impressive. Finding parking in the in the immediate area is a challenge.

Great deep history here in downtown safety harbor. This tree is estimated to be 500 years old. And many of these branches are so heavy and so large that they have to have braces placed under them so they dont collapse under their own immense weight. This tree is fenced off so nobody can do harm to it. There is also another tree nearly the same estimated age located only a few yards away from this one. Plus there are multiple wonderful heritage rich restaurants, and homes located all around this park. Divine heritage. With the public library right around the corner. This is a wonderful place to have lunch break at. Or just a walk down and see the wonderful sights of downtown safety harbor. I recommend visiting at least once to gaze at the magnificent size of the tree. Pictures dont do it justice.

Great spot to kick your feet up for a second.. Absolutely beautiful! I know a guy who knows a guy that had a little to do building it.. Check it out!

My favorite tree.

Basically this park is the protected 300 year old tree. But it is an amazing tree with an amazing energy all nestled quietly in Safety Harbor.Our Tai Chi and martial arts group has been meeting here every Sunday for about 6 years between 9 AM and 11AM or later followed by coffee and drinks at the great Starbucks across the street...Tampa Bay Martial Arts Group.

Not much of a “park” here- it’s really just the Baranoff tree. But it’s definitely a cool thing to see- the tree is massive and very beautiful. It would be great to have a bit more seating in the area, to enjoy a coffee from the Starbucks across the street.

Lovely park with a protected grand oak tree. Worth the trip just to see the old oak. Was there to participate in the guardian ad litem race. Thank you for hosting, Safety Harbor. Your town is wonderful, and well be back to enjoy your shops and many restaurants and the spectacular water views! Had no idea what a gem you are. Looking forward to our next visit, which will be soon!

The Oak tree in this park is astounding!

The city has preserved this iconic old oak tree. I was told that back in the day it was used as a hanging tree. How disturbing is that?

This tree is huge, may be the oldest in Pinellas. A must see...the branches are enormous and its hammock is amazing.

Must go at least one time if youre a native to Tampa

Beautiful old tree, nice benches in the shade

Its a quaint Park set up with benches so that you may sit and rest. And a nice area for dogs and small children.

Just lovely, the Baranoff oak tree is a must for nature lovers. Absolutely breath taking!

Worth the time to walk by and check this enormous live oak tree thats probably close to 500 years old. Its totally fabulous and I personally have not seen a live oak this large and grand.

Very quaint, small park not really for small children. More for people looking to relax.

Lots of great restaurants, waterfront views and several art galleries within walking distance.
