Nice small park for the kids or runners. Pretty short loop of maybe .5 mile. The horseshoe range has fallen under disrepair and needs to have the grass cut. It has its own bathroom as well although it might be locked. The patio area might be nice for a birthday party given the global pandemic right now.

Love this park, though this park needs a little more love from the city. Great walking path, baseball fields and tennis courts. Heck they even have horseshoe pits. The problem is that this park is not very well maintained by the city, there is grass growing up through the tennis courts, and the horseshoe pits arent mowed often. Still, a nice quiet place to take my dog for a walk.

Has a nice paved loop. You can add more distance by running the perimeter & up the sled hill.

Great park, people are friendly, lots of elderly walkers as a assistance living facility is close by. Sat with an older woman on a bench last week and she was an absolute hoot..

Bugs are terrible but that is to be expected lolWe played on the softball field and there needs to be some bases we had to draw out diamonds but it is what you make it. The water fountain was well maintained and didnt have a nasty copper taste. I love that it has a dog bowl attached to the water fountain for all the fur babies passing thru

This is a very nice park it has baseball diamonds and a tennis court. There is a small play ground for younger children. You can bring your dog but you must have the dog on a leash. There is a half mile track around the park and you could walk over to the twin sisters hill. They also have public restrooms

This park has a baseball diamond, walking trail, small playground, and a small splash pad. We spend most of our time at the small playground. I keep saying small because its suited more for kids who are 5 and under. Usually we make a stop here for the 2 year old and then move on to a Highland park for the older two. We enjoy coming here. I do wish the parking lot and playground were closer. Its quite a walk to a back corner of the park for kids to walk. Im curious how the splash pad will be later this summer.

I love dalquist park so much. Everyone comes here to enjoy the picnic dome, play sports, and let their children play at the park. Twin sisters, on the other side of the creek, is where the Erabs (East High,) occasionally practice their sports teams, and in the winter time, is where many people go sledding. Dalquist is one of the most classic parks in Rockford, and Id highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, and natural scene.

Everyone loves dalquist for anything from casual basketball, baseball meets, and family fun. Dalquist is a huge part of our local community. Twin sister hills are part of dalquist on the other side of the creek. We like to sled there in the winter time.
