Love this park. They are fixing the dam. Every senior class used it paint it. Park is nice small park nice trails. Nature center. Diverse people using it. Need to go sometime.

Sometimes it floods, but usually only to reasonable levels to still drive through and get PokeStops. Decent spawn rates. If the barricades are up though, its dangerous to enter. Be safe, have fun, and keep your animals on a leash!

Reuben Aldeen Park has a lot to offerThis park is very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing,Walking through the woods can be a fun activity for everyone even your kids.(My backyard goes into this park so I see all kinds of animals in this park. If you are quiet you can find deer making this exciting for kids)In the winter the overflow from the dam makes a great sledding hill.Note: this land especially the open field retains rain water and the ground is usually like a Marsh or swamp and is very spongy)This usally causes bugs mainly mosquitoes to hatchs so bring bug spray. Avoid poison ivy.Note2: there is a city ordinance of a curfew to be in this park at night.

Beautiful public park with big open spaces. Aldeen also features hiking trails and rental space for events. Pokémon Go players will appreciate 3 Pokéstops and 2 Gyms in the relatively small park. It does flood but usually the majority of the park is unaffected.

The is a huge park. If you love to hike there are paths in the woods to hike in. You can spend a very long peaceful hike in the woods. There are picnic tables and plenty of green lawn but no play ground so bring things for the kids to do and youll love it.

An awesome, classic, and natural place to enjoy in Rockford. Connect with the trees, walk a pet, or relax by the water. Whatever you do, this place is well taken care of, and sits in a community of great people. What a great park!

This park has a very nice trail system . it is dog friendly but you must keep your dog on a leash. There is some poison ivy growing in the woods so it is in your best interest to keep on the path. They have a porta potty. There is a large open field a steam and benches if you get tired.
