Absolutely gorgeous park. Access to the river. Great place to bring your dog, lots of people let their dogs off leash here, so if your dog does well in that kind of environment this is a great park.

This park is a classic Reno hub right on the Truckee River. It is a really beautiful park! Lots of shade, walking paths, a playground, but my favorite part of the park is the trail along the river. Park in the parking lot and then walk west to the end of the grassy area, theres a little bridge and turn right/north towards the rivers edge. There are a bunch of little river beaches. So nice!

Great place to walk you doggos in the summertime since its all shade and tight next to the Truckee River. Just be careful with the time - you cant really walk the paths on watering days. There never seems to have poop bags so dont forget to bring your own AND PICK up!!

Ca
Review №36

Great playground for kids with wood chips footing, lots of green grass, restrooms you can actually use, and dogwalking path with plenty of room to play ball. (Technically your dog is supposed to be on leash). Best part is excellent access to the Truckee river for late summer tubing floats and early season kayak and raft trips to the downtown water park. Free parking thats usually pretty safe, only 20m from the river.
