Raleighs best venue for music. Besides the parking, which is only paid parking. However it does get watched by the security there. Lines are usually pretty quick and prompt. The bars are very well placed. Typical music venue pricing which is high but like I said typical for the venue types. The stage is great. I have been here for a variety of shows and always have a. Great view. The balcony area seems cool, I have never been up there though. Like to hug the barricade all the time. Will always return here when my favorite bands show up.

The venue isn’t as bad as some people are saying it is, I’ve been the this venue a few times to see Zomboy, adventure club and so many more. The staff has always been great the security is perfect I enjoy the added protection. The sound is good the lights are perfect. I think it all depends on who you are seeing and who’s running the lights. The drinks are a little pricey but that with any place you go. Parking isn’t that expensive I think I may have paid $5 to park up close.

I have heard some things about this place and I am so happy to report that The Ritz is a great venue! I really enjoyed my time there and had a lot of fun. The staff was great and the experience was fantastic. The drinks were a bit pricey, but tasted better than I thought they would. The venue itself is bigger than I expected, especially if you just look at the building from the outside. The parking situation is a bit precarious, but I dont really think thats their fault and more of a real estate issue.

The key is to stand on the sides here by the stage. You’ll get a closer look. If you get a liquor drink here they definitely will give you plenty of it. It is pricey for a drink, but the bartender that waited on me made it worth it! Saw Young the Giant here and the lights were incredible.

We drove almost 4 hours to take my son to his first concert here. He had a blast, and I was so happy that it was all ages, and all of the employees were so friendly to him. Everyone was very professional there were no fights no rude people there, and as a matter of fact everyone was really friendly. It made his first Concert Experience a really good one. During the main act we had to leave a little early because we did have the 4 hour drive back, and to our surprise the band that is his favorite (Avatar) which was the second band playing, was out by their tour bus signing autographs. So he got to meet two of the members of his favorite band. It was one of the best nights of his life he said! I highly recommend this place, and I wish there was a place like this in Roanoke. We have Phase 2 in Lynchburg, but honestly I like the Ritz better. We will be back!

Affordable place to watch live performances. Saw Tove Lo a few weeks ago! They have drinks and the atmosphere is great! It fills up quickly so be aware of that. I wasnt able to see the artist the entire time because people kept pushing to the front, but thats the price you pay. They do have coat check as well, but its cash only. Will definitely go back.

This is a great venue for a large crowd that still feels intimate. Some bands you hear down at red hat downtown sound completely different here. Its always a good time. Safe. Super expensive drinks. Every time I come here I have at least one super positive chat with someone between bands. Definitely a fun time.Beware the massive column in the middle of the floor.

Awesome little place that offers incredible sound system dance floor & best of all the VIP level for an extra fee gets you appetizers, separate no wait bar or at your seat drink service, great views of the stage & entire lower level. Would be 5 stars for an outside patio that was more comfortable & allowed you to hear the music you paid to hear whilegetting some air &/or a smoke.

I like the Ritz as a venue and they book a good variety of bands. That being said, the last time I was there we arrived at 7:20 (doors opened at 7:00) and there was a line all the way around the building, all the way to the trees behind it, and all the way back through the parking lot. It took 45 mins to get in and we missed some of the opener. They need a much better system for checking bags and taking tickets to combat the insane lines.

While the venue attracts great performers and has a smooth process for getting people in and out of the venue safely, its not my first choice in concert venue. With an overpriced bar (even on domestics!), minimal bathrooms, and expensive parking options, Id rather see something local or more intimate downtown if I had the option. Still beats the Fillmore in Charlotte though.

Ive been here several times for concerts like Juicy J, Lil Uzi Vert, and most recently Da Baby. Its standing room only, which is ok because the place isnt huge to begin with. Even in the very back youre still pretty close to the stage and have a good view. There are plenty of bars so you dont have to wait very long to get a drink and an outside smoking area if you need it. It does tend to get kind of hot inside towards the end of the evening, which is expected. If youd like seats they have a VIP area upstairs you can pay extra to get into that come with seats and a table and an unobstructed view of the stage. Ive done that a few times as well but I like to be down in the crowd with everyone else, better concert experience to me. Ill continue to see shows here as long as its artists I like. 4 stars bc they shut the bars down once due to underage drinking and bc of how warm it gets inside and no re-entry allowed once you exit the building.

The Ritz is a really cool music and event venue. Everything is just right from the size of the venue as it is not too big to the layout of the place that allows you to be close to the stage or a little bit farther away in a more relaxed part. They have plenty of parking and security an staff to make everything smooth and safe. The crew here is professional and provides a superior music experience.

We saw PJ Morton at The Ritz in Raleigh, NC a few weeks ago. This venue is great! It has a rock n roll vibe with neon lights and checkerboard floors. There are plenty of bars and two sets of restrooms at either end of the venue. This is a huge plus! Theres a balcony for Premium Seating guests that overlooks the floor and allows for excellent views. There are also two private bars for upstairs. It does make the extra money spent worth it. The sound quality in the venue was excellent as well. Id love to see more shows at this venue.

Came for an Armin van Buuren show, and the experience was fantastic. Lines moved quickly even with the ID, bag and wand checks. Staff were helpful and personable. Multiple bars and bathrooms were easy to navigate to. Sound quality was outstanding, and the stage was easy to view no matter where you are. The upper ring, however, would have been the best view. If you have the option to upgrade, skip the fastlane option and go for the upper level... unless youd rather be in the mix on the floor. Beverages are standard prices and options for a music venue like this, servers moved the lines quickly.Exterior is well lit, paid parking ($5) is available around the building and within walking distance. Leaving the parking lots was smooth and efficient with parking attendants handling traffic flow. It didnt take long to get out and on the way.The last time I was at the Ritz was almost 15 years ago... this time was by far the best experience. Highly Recommended, Excellent Venue!

The fellow who first helped us, to Grant our Concierge, and Charlotte our waitress all exceeded my expectations. And the 2 very entertaining staffers who were at the VIP meet and greet were highly entertaining. They definitely deserve a raise! (And the boss man said he would give them each raises too!)

Its a decent venue. Just a big open warehouse with standing room only. VIP gets you upstairs to the balcony. Security is always easy and fast. Very limited free parking spots in the area. One of the bars and merchandise table are near the entrance which causes some roadblocks. There are support columns in the general standing area so the stage view is obstructed in certain areas. Sound quality is usually okay at best. Much better venues in the area for good sound. They get good acts, but not my top venue choice in the area.

The 10/12/19 Shoot to Thrill show was fantastic! We knew we would be traveling through Raleigh on that evening and found out about the show on the internet. Upon taking the stage the band transformed the energy of the room into a positive electric rock and roll vibe! The band’s tightness contributed to an incredibly entertaining experience for anyone who happened to be lucky enough to be at the venue. AC DC was part of the musical background of my formative years, and I had the good fortune to have seen them on two occasions. The performance of Shoot to Thrill was definitely worth the stop in Raleigh and The Ritz is a great venue! Kudos to The Ritz for booking Shoot to thrill!!!
