Excellent VenueWe have been there for several shows over the last two years and have never been disappointed. The sound has been spot on and there is not a bad seat in the house. My wife and I plan on returning in the near future. The North Carolina Symphony is great and have many innovative offerings. I truly appreciate having such a professional musical organization in the area.

Great place for concerts and local events. Our church, The Point Church, rented it out to bring together in Unity all 15 churches in the Point Church movement of Pointing People to Jesus!!

Swing is the Thing LOTS of fun. Wasnt sure I would like this but I am so glad I went. The Meymandi Hall could use a little updating..carpet is dated and there are not enough restrooms for anyone. If you have not been to listen to the NC Symphony you are really missing something good. They cover many different musical genres.

For better viewing, The NC symphony needs to put risers up for the brass and flute sections so that concert goers can see them performing. Sitting in front sections back to row j, you cant see them when they are playing. They are good and deserve to be seen as part of the performance. Thx

Excellent auditorium. Sound is very good regardless of your seats location. The pricing difference is justified by how close to the artist you sit and how well youd like to see them.

Went to see the North Carolina Symphony here. Parking was convenient and easily accessible. The building was full of people ready to help guide you to your seats. It was clean, and the stage was visible from the 3rd floor balcony. Well, I had to lean over a bit. Still had a great time!

Great accoustics and designed so that there are not any really bad seats, even the back row of the first floor, although the front of the balcony is better. We saw the NC Symphonys performance of Handels Messiah, and it was glorious! A little taste of heavenly worship of Christ my Lord.

My first visit at Meymandi for concert was a great experience. Our tickets were in the M section and the staff was very patient and pleasant directed us to our section. We parked our car in the Marriot hotel parking garage right on the corner there so was only a short walk. Beer and wine $5, not bad at all. Don’t know if they have same pricing for other events.

250 choir members from about seven or eight Raleigh churches (including ours) performed a Christmas cantata, Christmas Presence, written by, and under the direction of Pepper Choplin. Formal attire, etc. The facility is just right, large enough to fit singers and full orchestra, yet small enough to feel intimate. The staff were very helpful. It was a wonderful experience! Ive also been in the audience and found it to be just as special. We are fortunate to have such a revenue!

Beautiful space for performances. NC Symphony is top notch. Variety of performances from pops to traditional symphonic orchestra. They even have a series designed specifically for kids. Great value for quality performances. Parking is convenient and easy to find. Nearby restaurants and hotels can turn a performance evening into a weekend away. Bathrooms are always neat. Artwork in the lobby is changed often. I attend often and have never been disappointed.

Sound is excellent. My experience was very poor. I spent over $300 for tickets in 3rd row. The two seats in front were empty for the first part of the symphony concert. At intermission, and in full view of the usher, two teenagers took those seats. The usher didnt ask to see their tickets (DPAC ushers would have). The boys spent the entire second half of the concert acting as though they were at a rock concert. Completely ruined the experience and the symphony has lost a patron.
