Very cool experience. If you read some of them youll get a laugh however most of them are genuine good hearted wishes that will make your faith in humanity restore a little bit. I suggest stopping by and leaving a wish, its not.to far from any part of the city.

A very beautiful and unique place to visit if you are in Portland! This reminded me of the wonderful book The Giving Tree ️ It was fun to read what others had wished for as I was thinking of my own. This was a very positive place that I wish more cities had. A gem in a unique city! ️

Visited here sometime last year I think. Fun and cute. Needs more paper and pens and fastening devices, or bring your own. Kind of a mess with the rain.

A wonderful stop when in Portland. The boyfriend and I rented bicycles to visit this place! We got a bit lost trying to find it but please note, this tree is part of someones home, place right in front of their house. Be prepared to bring your own tag. When we went, there were no more tags available. It was interesting to read everyones wishes. Hope that they all come true! Definitely a place worth visiting if you have time when in Portland. There is a residential pub called The Pocket Pub, a short 5-minute walk from the Wishing Tree, so if you wanted to come here and make the stop worth it, you can enjoy a beer or glass of champagne down the road right after!

This is a wonderful wishing tree BUT this concept exists throughout the city. I came across four different wishing trees and each one was lovely and sincere. If you don’t feel like writing a wish and attaching it to a tree, make sure you take 5 minutes to read through some of the wonderful wishes others have written down

What a wonderful idea. Just a quiet tree in a little neighborhood, papered with hopes and wishes - some grand, some specific, some poignant, some humorous and all heartfelt. Out of tags when we arrived - it didnt matter.

Good selection of beers. A lot of books to read and relax.

I never knew this places excited until I moved to a place off of MLK. Jr. blvd. Out of a walk I passed this. There are all these wishes and prayers tied onto this tree. At the base of the tree you can get a take and pen and write your wish or prayer on and the it to the tree. It is pretty incredible to see all the tags on the tree. I would recommend visiting.

I like the concept of a wishing tree. The tree is in front of someones home. There are slips of paper in front of the tree. You make a wish and hang it on the tree.
