Beautiful green space with a little something for everyone. I visited on a weekend afternoon and it was quite lively with people jogging, walking their dogs, playing with kids, or chatting in a bench. The train tracks running the side of the park, the red brick building with a rooftop water tower and the Fremont Bridge close by all give the park an post-industrial vibe that I enjoy a lot.

I love this park right by my favorite coffee place in Portland. It’s quaint and quiet right by the city, there’s a view of the industrial side of Portland, and if you stay long enough, a train may just pass by.

The dog park is super secure with tall, strong fencing. However, the park is extremely small with no vegetation at all. My dog gets bored there very easily. Sometimes, around 6pm, the park gets extremely busy and people bring in dogs that are not sociable, and we have to leave because the risk of a fight breaking out in such a small space is too much. So definitely good for a quick stop, but I wouldn’t rely on this park to really stimulate or exhaust my dog.

~ Awesome Place To Relax With or Without Babies With or Without Fur! ~~ I mainly go here because there is a smaller dog pin that isnt often used, and since being attacked a couple times my pup has become an a$$hole, so typically no new dogs. He has managed to successfully play with 2 dogs here, but one he growled at once another dog came...the Husky and the dog he was just playing with. So I like to play it safe and this park allows it.~ I however do enjoy to eat lunch here sometimes because they have picnic tables and the vibes are nice, the view of the shiney buildings is sometimes cool too. They look like pearls lol. I noticed a lot of people sun bath, do yoga, walk laps, and run here too. It seems to be a great place to do anything, the popular hang out spot in The Pearl.~ The people seem nice; great place to feel at ease and normal in the middle of a Pandemic.

Nice park to just lay out and chill. Buildings provide shade if you need it. Benches along the trail that circles the park. The bad part was that the ground stays wet after a rain for a long time so there are muddy patches all over. There were lots of dogs around too.

Volunteered at the craft beer festival today here. Beautiful view of the Fremont bridge. The dreamy lighting reflected off the surrounding buildings gave the event a spectacular transition to evening. This park easily held the event. Im sure its even more beautiful without the tents and bustle. Well-run event, with a very pleasant backdrop.

One of the best parks be it for dogs, kids, or sunbathers with a coffee in hand. Very clean even though it is a dog area, and a great view of the bridge. Lots of space to keep distance as well.

We came here for the beer fest and everything was well laid out and organized. The grounds were nice and flat and all of the set up areas looked nice. The cool part about this location is they had adequate facilities available and it is dog friendly. They had doggy pools set up for your pooch to splash around, but I saw some adults pull their chairs over and dip their feet in whilst enjoying their beer. I was here on vacation, so I dont know what this field is normally used for, but it is a good positive space and wouldnt hesitate going to another event here.

Nice multi use community park located in NW Portland - Pearl District. Park is surrounded by numerous large condominiums & apartment buildings. Also numerous restaurants nearby along with a few boutique stores. As you can see by the pictures there is a huge grass area with great views of Freemont Bridge.People come here to soak up the sun, exercise, walk their dogs or just relax. Park has many benches and tables to sit at and has lots of plants and trees. There is also a playground.Amtrak train often rolls by at a very slow speed.

I love The Fields park... Its REALLY a great place to take your doggy friends, and meet new doggy friends! Theres a decent play structure for the kiddos, a large fenced area where dogs can be off leash, and a huge field where they host events like the Portland Cider Festival. I enjoy going here every day!

This little park is a treasure. Great for a quick stroll in the evening, yoga in the morning, or frisbee in the afternoon. There seems to be a great community of dog owners here and the park helps the surrounding area feel like a real neighborhood. The dog park and playground are awesome features for those interested and the views of the Fremont bridge are gorgeous

I love these fields. They are nice and open, so refreshing to have open green pasture downtown. These are very safe any time of day or night, seriously. Well lit area. Maintained regularly. There is an off leash dog park as well as a playground on either side of the grass lot. Many times in the summer, events will be held here. Otherwise, on any day and almost any time, you will find groups of people exercising, walking dogs, playing, and relaxing.

I really want to like this park, but its just a big grassy area that serves as the front yard to a huge condo building.I have dogs and the dog parks are a joke. There are a lot of dogs in the Pearl so you would think there would be a large dog park to give them a place to run off leash inside a fenced area for safety since they dont have back yards, but these dog parks give you the feel of being in a small cage. There is no room for a dog to run and excercise. The last time I was here we were alone, so Im not the only one that is giving up on this park

If you are a tourist or just visiting The Pearl district for first time, you have to come here. I used to live a block away of this park. I love it. Very clean. The playground is intended for kids 5+ but little kids can have fun too. Most of the structure is made with metal so it can get hot in the sun. There is a sand lot and is enclosed with gates at each end. The grass area outside the playground can be a nice but lots of dogs also use the grass so need to check the area. There are 2 gated dog areas also and a paved loop that goes around the grass

This is a nice, clean urban park with a good view of the Fremont Bridge. Most of the time I’m there it is being lightly used by families and clean cut young folks. It’s pretty noisy with the sounds of trains, construction, and traffic you would expect in this crowded part of the city. I bring my grandchildren here frequently to play on the playground and run on the large open grassy field.

There are still houseless people hanging around the playground area even in this nice area. Also lots of people taking their dogs to the actual field so not ideal for parents with small kids since you cant let the kids run around lest you tick off one of the pets (or their owners).Nevertheless, this is one of the very few parks in the general downtown area that have not been semi permanently closed or completely invaded by homeless. The playground itself has a fence all the way around so the kids cant run into the street which is quite nice.
