Fantastic Park! Its not very big but well located and designed. The track looks really nice and well maintained for running laps, or to do yoga and workouts in the field. There are several tennis courts, a dog park, a playground as well. I love the energy in the park!

Great park! Shares a border with some kind of school with a football field. It was the closest park to the closest McDonalds to my work so it came down to convenience. They had nice tables and trees. Thats about all I got to experience but was exactly what I was looking for and needed that day so I was happy! :)

Medium size neighborhood park that has a bit of something for everyone. Off leash dog area, huge old growth evergreen trees, a covered area where Ive seen skateboarding as well as Tai Chi, a compact yet entertaining playground, a sculpture garden, and a tumble of rolling hills perfect for a blanket and bottle of something tasty.

We love Grant Park. It is a huge beautiful park with lots of talks trees. If you have young kids, under three, I would not recommend the playground. There are several spots were your kid can fall and the play structure is TALL. There are better playgrounds with safer toddler structures around town.

Nice semi-forested, multi use park adjacent to the now, under construction for 2 years, Grant High School. Theyll be back in Fall 2019. Also, on the other NE side is Hollyrood - Bevery Cleary Grade School. Young kids can use their outdoor playground when school is not in session. Decent size dog park area but not fenced in. By NE soccer field in summer in between the 2 schools; just west in the dip area for fall/winter. Dogs and owners always friendly so far. Three more block large dip areas going west along upscale neighborhood till 33rd Ave. for picnic, frisbee, relaxing, etc. Summertime, the outdoor pool is open to the public as well as the 8 tennis courts just west of pool and east of dips. South of tennis courts is picnic benches, as well as, local auther Beaverly Clearys Ramona characters bronze fountain that kids can run thru and play in with benches for caretakers to relax. Full, huge playground equipment, swings, merry-go-round, see-saws, etc. next to it on 33rd ave. side that has parking. On the other side of all that stuff above is the bowl where Grant plays football with the schools track surrounding the field. Botb are open for public use except when school needs it for games or practice. Park hours are 5 am to 10 pm. Decent size park for that close in with high school connection. Occadsional summer concerts, etc. And covered event area that can be reserved next to Hollyrood grade school.

Sprawling urban park in NE Portland, will a little something for everybody. Playground equipment for kids, tall shade trees, wide open spaces for sunbathing or spacing out... even a Beverly Cleary-themed water fountain. In the summer time, this park boasts one of Portlands best outdoor pools.Park on streets surrounding the park and put your walking shoes on if youd like to see it all.
