A great place to see wild life and walk or jog around the lake. It would be 5s but there where not any trash can on the lake side of the park. I had to go all the way to the park on the other side of the street.

A beautiful hidden gem. There is an easy, paved trail around the lake, a lot of nice grassy areas and a playground. It is a great place for a walk, for children to learning to ride bikes and even a bit of fishing. It is often filled with parents with toddlers and strollers. There are ducks, cormorants, kingfishers and blue herons regularly. Occasionally a green heron, turtle or osprey is spotted along with more serious photographers.

Great park in a neighborhood. Keep it pretty and relaxing for all by using common sense. There are amazing birding opportunities and its a very well used park. Some common sense goes a long way and it actually NEEDS to be said:Please Pick up your trash especially if you are one of the many fishermen families. Do not trample through the bushes to find a better place to fish - its all off limits. Dogs are NOT allowed off leash and NOT allowed in the water. Pick up your dogs droppings. Also, slow down driving on Huntington by the park.Help keep the park healthy and available for all to use.

This city park is large enough that lots of people can use it without it feeling crowded. The perimeter trail is blacktop. There is a play-equipment area for the kiddos, picnic tables, and benches. The lake has several wooden look-out areas built out onto the lake. Ducks and geese call it home. People fish here.

This is a great place to take your little one. D play structure is varied and typically being used by friendly children in the area. ducks often swim in the pond, so pick up some bird seed and feed them. Do not bring bread, because some of the ecologically minded locals will tell you it is not safe to feed ducks bread

This is a fantastic park with a wonderful walking trail around the lake. I believe its about .8 miles every time around. The path is relatively flat, there are several benches, and there are even a couple tables for a picnic. Wooden dock-like structures are interspersed a few times on the trail so you can get closer to the water. The wildlife is wonderful to see, and the Parks and Recreation department has done a great job maintaining the park.

A great neighborhood park with a large, algea-choked lake as centerpiece. I see fishermen and photographers in significant numbers. A fairly flat trail leads all the way around. On the amenities side there is a playground, a large, flat open field, a small set of bleachers, and a (small) handful of picnic tables. On the downside there is a single porta-potty, no picnic shelter, and no dedicated parking. Our group of 60+ made it work for a picnic potluck, but only by keeping it relatively short and being willing to sit on the ground.

This is one of my favorite places to go for a quick evening stroll around the lake. There are picnic tables, benches, a playground, areas where people like to fish, and a variety of ducks swimming or hanging out near the lake. Like other people have mentioned, watch out for the duck poop. I like this park because it is very serene, and the trees are lovely in the Fall and Spring. It is also well maintained and the grass is mown regularly. Despite the fact that it is fairly popular, it never gets overly crowded. It is also easily accessible and there is street parking right in front of the park which is convenient.

There is no parking lot, you have to park on the street. No improve facilities that Im aware of, but there was a mobile restroom. When I was there, it seemed nearly full. But, it was better than having to find a bush in the popular park. that being said it is a very pretty part and it looks like a great place to picnic with your family.

Good lake for jogging, walking, fishing and picnics. I saw small playground nearby.Fishing is not so convenient here because many underwater weed in the summer, but I could caught few trouts in the evening and saw many big carps splashed in the water. River bank filled with stones from the one side dedicated for fishing, opposite bank prohibited for fishing and marked as green nature area. I had filling like this prohibited area has many fishes there, because many trees and bushes. If you have thin fishing thread line 2-6lb (#0.2-0.4 by Japan) and spoon lure 1/8 -1/4Oz you can reach this bank by throw, but be careful with snags!!!This place calm enough and very attractive for datings or meetings.

I actually like this park. Where we entered, there wasnt a lot of parking. All residential and I feel bad parking in front of peoples house. Pathway a bit narrow but big open area on at least one side of the path. Good size lake in the middle with a little playground for the kids. Felt a bit crowded with the bikes and kids so we left after two laps. Not sure if I want to come back as there are still many parks to check out.
