I love Improv comedy and was not disappointed! I went on a Friday night. The place is small, but I laughed and laughed from start to end. They are a talented group and well worth the money paid. I will go again and would recommend to anyone who likes live comedy.

When on vacation we always look for improv theaters. This one was a little less polished than most and they didnt sell alcohol, which was fine. We ate and drank before. I guess since it was our honeymoon I got to go on stage which was fun. We laughed amd had a great time.

The Fresnel Theater is a great place to see and experience great improv theatre in downtown Portland. The ComedySportz matches on Fri and Sat nights are particularly fun -- and they keep those shows (they call them matches) family-friendly. Fun times!

Fun, clean, fast improv show in a sports event format. Theres a referee to keep things moving so it never bogged down. Definitely safe for the whole family, reasonable tickets and concessions, and located in a cool space and a cool neighborhood. Check it out!

Went to see Comedysportz show the 7pm show with my 9 year old daughter. The show was awesome engaging and appropriate for my 9 year old. It was a great way to spend a Saturday evening!

Very funny and very well put together. The charade skit had us in tears! I would highly recommend this comedy improv to folks of all ages.

Went to see a comedy show there and was pleasantly surprised. The acting was good, the atmosphere was simple and it was an all around good time. I would recommend this to everyone.

ComedySportz is great for the whole family. It is 100% clean, and the performers in Maine are talented and very funny. Where else can you play $8 to laugh non stop for 90 minutes?

Clean improv that I personally wasnt huge on, but still a venue worth visiting if youre into clean humor.Tickets were very reasonable and available online. Seating is the basic folding chair in front of a small acting area affair. Improv is admittedly hard to hit everyones fancy, and in this case, it didnt hit mine that night, but I appreciate the effort as it takes a LOT to do. They set a timer for 45 minutes and kept the scenes changing to keep things fresh. I loved how they had a lot of fun doing it, and was glad that others had a good time.

Pronounced Fre-nel...Small, local improv theater. We were given free tickets. Fun way to spend the evening. Good, clean humor. Enthusiastic actors.They have a small concessions stand with chips, candy, and canned drinks and bottled water.

Was visiting Portland solo and have never been to an improv show so I though this could be a great way to spend the evening. Lots of laughs and the place had a really great atmosphere with clean comedy.

My daughter had so much fun!
