Great inclusive playground for all ages and abilities. A little hard to get to, especially in the summer, and regular parking was full when we went on a chilly day in November, even that late in the season the park is so popular that people had started participating in the make your own parking spot anywhere initiative. Not to harp on the whole parking thing, but we were a little surprised to find so few handicapped parking spots at a park that caters to kids with disabilities. Besides all that the views were breathtaking and the people were friendly and everyone was very COVID responsible, even the little ones.

Something to keep the kids busy all morning. The ocean at low tide is so fun to search for clams, crabs, snails. The little splash pad is super cute and the playground has been completely redone. Definitely worth a try!

This park is great, splash pad and playground are right by the water. Low tide provides some tide pools and areas to explore for little ones. Would love to come back!

Nelson park beach in Plymouth, MA was beautiful today. Perfect conditions! Nice ocean breeze,walked out to the sand bar too! Much more space during low tide. We got there early this morning. Around 7:30ish. The main parking lot fills up quickly on weekends. Overall, everyone was respectful of other peoples space and property. We had a nice relaxing time.

Splash pad & playground are awesome! There were no garbage cans near either venue. The Snackshack & bathrooms are closed (July 2020).The beach is not sand. Make sure you all wear water shoes because the rocks are ouchy. Waves are perfect for little ones with small pools at low tide. Plan to carry your garbage out with you. Dogs welcome (on a leash) *pick up after your pet*

Lovely spot with some small beaches, playground, and access to biking / walking trail. Handicap parking and accessible walkways available.

This is a terrific gem for the community, with picnic benches and restroom facilities, a small field and playground, a splash pad and a beach. I only give it 4 stars because parking is extremely limited, but it is free, and the beach is very rocky and kind of smelly in a low tide bay water way. So if youre looking for it primarily as a good beach spot, pick somewhere else, but if you have kids who want to see minnows and crabs, and run around with lots of activities, this is an awesome place to be.

Very busy. Very limited parking. Very strict parking enforcement. I believe it was a $30 parking ticket. The beach is very rocky. A lot like a harbor. Water was clean as far as seaweed. The splash pad and playgrounds were all updated. We had the dogs on the beach but we kept them leashed. Overall a great family day trip.

An exceptional place for your kids to have some fun. Adults may enjoy the spectacular ocean views of have some picnic. My toddler loves the splash pad and Im very happy that we found a place where he can cool down a little bit while playing. The area with swings and slides is also convenient and always clean. Have I mentioned the snack bar? Yes, they also have a snack bar with clean, well maintained rest rooms.

Nice views but not a lot of parking. Biking, walking, running, dog trail is a nice walk. Playground can become a little over crowded and annoying

My Husband, and I grabbed dinner, and sat on blanket in grass having a last minute picnic, with an ocean view, able to enjoy each others company, very pretty

Awesome park! Came here for bark in the park, love the combination of playground, beach, patio areas and open space!

I went here for the very first time. I have got to say the location is amazing. They have food trucks and a snack shop. Snack options could have been better but its also early in the season. Water was great, a little cold but refreshing. Remember water shoes!! The rocks and open sharp shells are not very nice to your feet.

Good place for dog owners to take their dogs. Only place I know where you can take your dog on the beach during the summer

Beautiful park with beach access(though a bit rocky), splash park and playground. Bathrooms available were nice and clean. Beautiful views. Nice bike or walking path. Bonus: Lobster pot food truck was on site....delicious chipotle lobster roll and cape cod chips at very reasonable price.

Beautiful view parking sucks during the day but its a nice place to walk sit at the table or take kids to the playground.

The view is spectacular! The equipment was in good condition, except there were two broken pieces (a slide with shotty fencing at the top to try and keep kids out, but didnt work, and a swing). Lots of seating, in the shade or the sun and the ice cream truck comes through. The splash pad was pretty cool too, but too windy today for us to use it.

Love it here. A bit grassy for a beach and very small but beautiful and peaceful. My son loves it here too. Great for kids. Great park although it gets hot in the summer. Great little chill water canal for the kids to dig in.

Nelson park is awesome!!! There are picnic tables and grass with shade. Play ground, and splash pad and its all on the beach. And there are bathrooms so its so convenient and its free!!! Perfect place for all ages ...

This park is hands-down the best part you will ever go to in your life. Where can you go to a park where there is a sprinkler system on the beautiful Waterfront ocean of Plymouth. There is so much to do here. The park is so safe for children of all ages. They have so much at this park that it is a whole day trip. Also connecting to Nelson Park is Graces Trail. If you do not know what Grace is Trail is Google its a wonderful walk to Nelson Park. Also to the moms and dads and grandparents aunties and uncles there is a restroom there and there is food there they couldnt have built this park any better hands down the best part I have ever been to !

Right on the beach, also has splash pad in summer and decent sized playground. Also has bike trails. And a big field for kids to run, play around, also pet friendly.

Nelson Park has a nice beach with great views. The beach is rocky so you will need water shoes. They have nice clean bathrooms and a place to buy sandwiches and drinks. You can even rent chairs for the day! There is a nice grassy field with picnic tables. It is all free but the parking is very limited.

I love bringing my son here to play. The playground is in fairly decent shape. The splash pad is a fun and free activity for the day. The beach is nice and free from trash. There is even a nice cleared walking path located in the rear of the parking lot!

I loveNelson Memorial Park. Its an awesome place to go to in the Summer and just chill out. I go a lot with good friends.

It was nice sitting under the trees with the breeze coming from the water. The snack bar and restrooms were a plus.

Location - epic! Waterfront = cool summer breezes and plenty of space. October 2019 update: ALL NEW PLAYGROUND! 5 stars all the way. The Pilgrims would be proud.

During my visit to East coast I stopped here to see the Atlantic ocean after seeing The Plymouth Rock. Very peaceful place off the track but nice!
