Nice tour and very interesting. Well done.
This was a very humble and inspiring home to visit. The guide was very helpful as she told us about the home. She showed us which part was original and the parts that were added on a little later. It is incredible to think that this house is nearly 400 years old. It is definitely a treasure of our history.
This place is truly a piece of history. Built in 1667 with additions since. Original has been restored. Plenty on the family history and items from the earliest period on. Truly gives a feel for living at the time of the pilgrims. Cost is minimal for the tour. When in Plymouth, avoid the rock and spend time here instead.
The docent was very knowledgeable! There were three in our group and we had our own private tour. She was very informative and was very kind about answering our questions.
Amazing historic site! You may find out you are related to the owner of the home.
Cool old house to visit if you like history.
I am a descendant of John and Elizabeth Howland, so this was an especially incredible experience for me. It was awesome to walk where my ancestors walked on the stone floor. There was so much to look at and learn! We were also able to drive to the Howland homestead where they are excavating for artifacts, etc.
I went because I found out I a direct descendant. So it had more meaning for me but I thought the ladies doing the tour were great, very knowledgeable. Very interesting.
The lady gave us tour it was great
Oldest home that housed one of the original Mayflower Pilgrims, John Howland. Wonderful step into antiquity. Transports the viewer into Pilgrim times.
It is part of our heritage. To see how we lived and survived
Its a magical place with tons of original old objects. Completed by a tour wit one of the guides who seem deeply involved in the history of the pilgrims, its a perfect time travel.
It doesnt open for the season until later in June
Love the ladies they were so helpful and charming
A piece of American history! Knowledgeable staff to guide you through the house giving you its history.
I toured the house years ago and loved it. The people working there are knowledge about the house and its former occupants.
