Great little state park right on the beach. We had an site with electric. Water was within 50 so refilling our RV was not an issue. We camped over ColumbusDay weekend so the park was at only about 50% capacity in the electric section. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Quiet, Felt At Ease. Slept In My Van Friday Oct 4 2019 And Saturday Oct 5 2019. In The Night Time It Surely Gets Cold. Shower Rooms Are Cold But Both Times I Showered The Water Is Just Right Not Extremely Hot, Just Hot. Shower Rooms Are Unisex And For The Handicapped. Restrooms Are Very Clean. Overall I Would Definitely Return To Visit Cumberland Bay State Park. For 2 Nights I Paid 47.00 With Tax Included.

Cumberland bay state park gave us an amazing camping experience. With the exceptional amenities and services provided by the park, they made us feel real comfy. The bathrooms and restrooms were neat and well maintained. Each campsite had area big enough to accommodate utmost two tents and two cars. The beach is an added recreation when you stay here. You need to book well in advance to get a spot and the prices are very cheap.There are a lot of places you can go visit around the area and fun activities you can do. Ausable chasm is one which was great!Loved every bit of our stay here. I highly recommend this place for an amazing camping experience.

Park was great!! Super clean beach on the lake and the bathrooms were nice. Showers are free and the campsite was well taken care of. Only problem was that if you get a campsite near the water, be prepared for rough sleep. The wind comes off the lake and rips through, our tent was literally shaking. I recommend a site away from the water and you can easily walk to the beach

Came in to check out the park this summer. Amazing beach area on Champlain shallow for a long way out, so great for the littles. Camping is quite open and cramped. Everything looked clean.

I love this place!!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Ice and wood is available at the front check in areaRVs, pop up tents and tents are all available to use here.Theres a beach (Cumberland lake) its super nice here.If you have pets, you need to bring their updated Rabies vaccine papers. Its required. We just happen to have our readily available.We went 4th of July...it was really busy, but quiet hours started at 10 pm and that was pretty much when everyone was quiet.Theres showers and bathrooms, which is nice to have when camping for any length if time.

Great place for a stroll with the dog. I was not camping due to the pandemic but the camping sites seamed very close together and they did not have much flat and shaded areas. I would still camp there with a RV or camper due to the ease of pulling in and out

We have used this as a day use area this spring 2020. Hope to keep coming through summer. Beautiful beach. Very windy. No bathrooms. Playground equipment closed. Water faucets are on. No camping. Very low traffic (a hot week day afternoon). Great for a bike ride and a jog.

Good place to visit and have fun. The only thing is we did not have any outside showers or faucets to clean off the sand.

Absolutely the best looking campground I stayed at. Amazing views of the bay, day and night. The beach is incredible, looked groomed in October. Good electrical and water unpalatable. Bathroom showers I have issues with. No room to put your towels down let alone your clothing. I guess we just lay them on the bathroom floor??? The showers are push button. Each push last for 5 minutes or so. TIP: Push the button as you get ready for your shower. After your able to find a place clean to lay your stuff on. The floor.. you will have pushed the button at least twice. Then you should have hot water. Other than that it would have been 5 Stars..

Lots of open space. Huge beach area to walk or swim. Plenty of picnic tables.

Beautiful and convenient to beach abd campground. And highway and even. Vermont ferry. Snack bar is a plus. New ownership. Very clean and bright. Now has. Soft ice cream window. And picnic benches. . Mini grocery store and. Gas. Station. Has Fresh produce when available. .Worth Stopping by.

Best place for camping with toddlers and babies, groceries stores are close by if you run out of things. Campsite are big enough to accommodate two tents and a car. There is a playground in the middle of the park for kids to burn some energy. Its definitely our summer place for camping .

Behold the majesty of the Champlain Valley!Mountains to the east and west.Beautiful lake in the middle.Major metro to the north.Few places are better.

Its peaceful, clean nature with plenty of trails so were not walking all over each other.

This place has it all when you need to camp in a tent. Showers, bathrooms, laundry room,fire pit,wood at office,jungle jim for the kids.Other than getting pulled over by the State Police for touching the dotted line on the rumble strip in the middle of the road on route 9 and receiving a ticket for fail to keep right what a crock,the police are very rude to.Other than that I liked the area, Ill never go back......lol

Park good. Water Lakeshore filled with human waste fertlizer from wTer plant and run off. What should be a spectacular people park..just OK. Mostly Canadians come. See campers numbers drop more each year. Book ahead online.

I’m writing this review mainly for kite surfers. Awesome kitesurf spot for south to southeast wind. Most people come down to the camping area to Kite, but I prefer the other end near the large washrooms. Parking is better, bathrooms are clean and there’s a ton of room on the beach. Few to no rocks or shells so it’s safe to ride without booties. Can be a touch cold but Champlain is a big lake. If you feel like heading a bit further, check out point aux sables.

Great campground. Clean showers, restrooms & safe environment. A few body-weight exercise machines, access to beach & private firepits for each camp site. My only complaint is each campsite didnt have a trash can in walking proximity. Everyone had to either walk a distance or drive trash to a dumpster near campground entrance.

The beach is sand and they have a nice play groind but the water doesnt get deep enough for really swimming. Whats with all the shallow swimming around here?

On the small side but is cute.Its a nice place to be if you dont mind the open area.

I would like to know why my dog cant play in the water down where the sign says no swimming.She likes to walk in the shallow end. Since there is no swimming of adults or children i dont see what it hurts to let pets wade in that area especially when she is on a leash.She doesnt poop or pee in the water unlike children and adults.You allow babies with diapers and swim pants which at times are urine soaked and feces filled.Thats unhealthy.In reality my dog is cleaner than most humans.The lifeguard told me to take my dog down behind the houses past the campsites.Wow im sure homeowners want me trespassing with my dog on their water right away.Why cant you add a pet friendly area since they allow the pets at the campsites they want to go in the water on hot days too.

Wonderful beach,. Nice sights,. Just too many Frogs, who think that own the place. High winds, and that think it is ok to have a camp fire.

Was here in 1978 I know long time ago, it was great time went fishing swimming and just up the roadfrom the ferry to Burlington VT which was great for my friends and i.

Beautiful view of Lake Champlain, beach side sites, inexpensive, clean bathhouse and comvenient laundry. Only issue, sites are tight with little privacy.

I was there for a 1 night stay. Clean showers and restrooms. You can ride 20 min to Plattsburgh to find a Walmart and some restaurants, it was convenient to me.
