Very nice small museum. Displays were nicely presented and in good condition. It takes about 45-60 mins to tour the museum. The volunteer staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience about a significant, but little known naval and land battle of the War of 1812.

Docent was excellent and made us very knowledgeable about the War of 1812. The museum had many different types of presentations on Plattsburghs critical part in the war. Beautifully done dioramas!

Why bother? Volunteers listening to a few...unprofessional. Sorry events. Do many great historic sites with great staff. Go elsewhere. This is such a sorry group from Battle, to Kent Delord House, to museums. Bring in professionals. Spending money will make it worth it...People might actually come. Biggest attraction fireworks and bad food vendors for low income residence to party.
