The park is nice, not super, but good.

Very nice park!The splash pad is also fun!We have caught the farmers market a few times.Id love to give this park more stars but the public bathroom was atrocious with profanity written on the stall walls,no toilet paper or a way to dry your hands.It made for an awful bathroom experience for my 3 year old.

The playground for children is nice. Could be a much nicer place to walk your dog if people cleaned up after their dog. You are lucky to live in Massachusetts. You should have more pride in your home. Most of the time New Englanders are very fastidious or at least they are where Ive been. Signed a surprised Southerner

I like the common park its a historic location, and its nice too see the renovations going so well . People should go there more .

Nice, clean area. Open grassy area, with a couple of benches. Also has basketball court, 2 playsets, a splash pad, and numerous other small kid play structures. Bathrooms available too, and fairly clean. Kids had a blast playing here.

I walk through the common often. summer time is the best time if you have toddlers. park has a sprinkler for the kids to cool down. The grass lawn is always kept nice. On Saturdays there is a farmers market. Also Shakesphere in the park in July. Alot is offered for free.

The kids grab an ice cream from the softee place across street than hit the park for the spray park and play equipment . Fun place for an impromptu get out of house for hour or 2

It was the day of the Solar Eclipse.Spending time with my beautiful boys, with nothing to do, but have fun during our vacation was a joy! If you have small kids, like to walk(or both), or just be(read a book ake in the view)- this is a great place to visit!

Love that Pittsfield made this such a nice spot for families to enjoy. My favorite uses of this space is farmers market and Shakespeare in the Park. The children live the splash area

If i could give 0 stars I would..... Could be better if the town cared enough to clean all the drug paraphernalia up, Im scared to bring my kids there. Afraid they will touch or step on stuff and catching something!!!!!!And sorry but Im being honest

The summer is our favorite time to visit this park. over the past year, the place has cleaned up alot and more family are visiting everyday. we also enjoy the farmers market here on Saturday mornings and love playing in the water park as the trains slowing whistle through. would love it even more if the bathrooms were cleaned daily. ; )

I like what they did with the place but I dont like that the bathrooms became a shooting gallery for active addicts. Something should be done

Recently upgraded city park with vwry well is welk used splash park and playground for kidsBeware of the neighbors that abut the park, let their dogs off leash to do their business and never clean up, the littering of nip bottles and hypodermic drug abuser needles in places.. Along with the homeless that take up residence at the mini amphitheater. City sends full crews to clean it everyday in summer because we know that people there cannot find one of the 5 comveniently placed trashcans. Throwing stuff on the ground is easier.Several decemt restaurants very close as well as a Cumberland Farms gas/convenience store. Very close to the main drag.Parks are open to all. You cannotvstop folks. A few well placed signs with arrows and instructions how to use a garbage can, a sharps disposal unit and aome poopy bag dispensers would help a lot.

Relatively new playground, nice big field AND spray park that kids love to run around in, plenty of benches for parents/babysitters :)Only withheld a star because I parked in the big 3-hour lot across the street. At least it was free for a good chunk of time! ... But might be a bit far to walk if you have elderly/disabled and your ultimate destination is the playground, which is all the way on the opposite end of that big grassy field.Plan on coming back. When I do, I can hopefully comment more on parking (will try to find closer) and bathrooms (dont know if there are any, and in what condition - didnt need any while there. There is a nearby Dunkin Donuts, a Burger King, and a pub, however, and the first two also have their own parking).

There is a weekly Farmers market, with a splash pad and, a playground with the railroad tracks just next to the park for railfanning.

I try not to go to the play park as much with my 10 year old since I stepped on a used Crack pipe. I warned the rest if the parents coming in the morning this happened. Needless to say we all didnt stay long.

The common is full of drug dealers and children right next to eachother
