This is one of my all time favorite spots to watch a live performance in Philadelphia.Its really well located in the University area of the city and has early access to other parts of the venue. This is great because you can get there early and not have to stand in a line outside the building.I saw Mark Broussard there and it was a bucket list item checked! Great show, great venue!

Good time there last eve. Great entertainment and food. It was crowded so they could have used a few more servers but overall a great venue.

Go to place in Philly to see independent artists and well known also. Always friendly staff and excellent food. Subscribe to their email list to see the concerts. Parking is now convenient with the Penn parking lot around the corner.

Standing room only allows you to be close to the performance and dance

We watched Helmet (metal band) play here, in the lower level showroom recently. The room where the concert occurred was fantastic! It was well designed acoustically and ergonomically for attendees. The prices for cocktails, of which they had a wide variety, were quite reasonable for the quality of the establishment. Service was also excellent. The show sounded absolutely great, and I attribute a good bit of this to the acoustically sound showroom. I have seen this band at three other places and the sound here was far and away the best. Nice job!

Really unique and intimate location for shows! Tickets were very reasonably priced, parking adjacent, safe surroundings. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, looking forward to returning!

This was my first show and definitely it was a great experience. I enjoyed the comedy and the artistry. Not to mention the girls were seductive and sexy. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a fun night out.

Great venue for performances, convenient location with plenty of parking. We sat in the balcony and ordered food. All of the items we ordered were great, including the curry chicken, pulled pork and the eggplant fries. I will say that the service upstairs wasnt up to par, but it was hard to say if it was the server, or if she was short-handed. That said, the bartenders at the bar on the ground floor were excellent and very efficient! Looking forward to going back for future performances.

The food in the lounge is excellent with a substantial vegan friendly option designed to satisfy an appetite. The entertainment was amazing. Definitely worth checking out. I only wish they could have dimmed the fairy lights in the eating area so that we could see the stage more easily.

This venue was awesome! Great liquor selection, friendly bartenders, great sound. Loved the smaller, intimate size. Standing in the back row still felt like front stage !

Ive seen two shows here and both times confirmed that I would definitely be willing to go back. The food, drinks, and service were great and I loved that theres an option to purchase seats upstairs so you can still enjoy the show but dont have to stand the whole time.

Beautiful venue! I had an amazing time. The staffing was amazing. The bathroom was well maintained. I definitely would recommend this place to all. 10 out of 10 my favorite venue in Philadelphia area.

Friendly employees, nice ambience. Acoustics a little harsh for a loud band. Should be excellent for a more mellow group. I hope to go again now that I know how nice it can be.

Decent shows but disappointing sound system

The atmosphere was wonderful. The band, FANTASTIC!!!four the first time in awhile I actually got out of my seat. All the employees that I interacted with all had a smile when they were approached. Valley Forge & World Cafe Live, I will definitely be back.

Hands down my favorite venue in the Philly area. Medium sized and perfect for all shows. As a photographer for many local bands, the venue and its technicians are provide awesome lighting.

This is a great venue. Ive seen several shows here. The drinks are good and the food is good. Whether youre catching a show upstairs or downstairs, youll have a great time. Surprisingly easy Street parking outside, or the garage around the corner. The sister venue in Wilmington, DE The Queen is also very cool with a similar setup.

I love this little venue! Especially when Bronze Radio return comes to town. Never dissappoints!

The main room has an utterly superb sound system and the people who run said sound system regularly deliver stellar live mixes and, unlike some of the suburban theaters, its loud enough. The people who work there are entirely civilized. Those are the two things I care about in a live music venue.

Great place to come in after work as a destresser. Came here during their comedy night special. Happy hour was worth it. These broccoli fritters are highly recommended. We ordered two dish of them. Other recommended dish that we tried: chicken fajita quesadilla and chicken wings - Korean BBQ. They are a little pricey. Cover charge depends on the events. There are free events available so check their calendar on the website. There is a paid parking lot available or there are streets metered parking as well. Cash and cards are available as forms of payment. Happy Hour is from 5-7 pm. Dress code vary depending on the event but it mostly dressy casual. So if youre in the area, check them out.

My time at World Cafe Live was phenomenal!! The wait staff in the upper level are really good and kind. The food is large portions and always phenomenal! I recommend the chicken and waffles - the fries are perfect!The music venue is A+ too! Great acoustics, the band(Denizen, highly recommend) definitely showed the true potential of the sound in the room. Their keyboard player definitely enamored the room too!Check em out! Have fun! The drinks are great too!

Upstairs and downstairs were excellent. Staff was great. Enjoyed the show.

Did not like sound system. Comes off as wall of sound. Could not hear individual instruments. Fish is hard working, very talented musician. Vocals okay. Cracking voice technique wears thin by end of night. Opening number killed! Worth the trip by itself.

My wife and I go here a lot. The artists seem to love it and it shows. Food has always been great and service remarkable, efficient, friendly and timely. I enjoy the ambience upstairs and downstairs.

I saw Kate Voegele and Tyler Hilton on 12/11 and the show was amazing! Sound quality was awesome! Good clean sound no matter where you stood. Bar was well stocked and the bartenders were super friendly!My only gripe is the layout of the stage and audience. There are tables you can reserve which are raised up a bit, which is nice if you can get one, but the general admission area is just about level with the stage, so if youre short like me, good bloody luck seeing whos playing.Other than that, its a pretty great venue in a good part of town. Id still come back for more shows!

I go here almost everytime Bancroft get tickets. Performances are great!! I love the diversity of music played.

Nice place to see a show but, If you decide to pay more for the comfort of sitting in the balcony beware! The ticket price is higher & the sound system buries the vocals mix up there. I like to hear the singing in the mix and that appears to be directed to those down on the floor.

Jesse Gimbels band should have headlined Thursday night. The food was good and the staff is so nice. I was blown away by the atmosphere. What a great venue!

The venue felt pretty small, there are tables for seating and dining on one side and an open floor for the rest of the audience.

Saw Sheer Mag here. Every chance you get to see Sheer Mag, you should go see Sheer Mag. The venue was huge, the atmosphere was great, and the drinks were well poured. There really wasnt a bad viewing angle either, the positioning of the stage is very acommodating to the whole room. Great place to see a performance.

Intimate space to listen to great artists and enjoy a good meal

This is the place to go for a light dinner and a show. Perfect date night! Other shows are SRO, but great acoustics and crowds. If you have a teen, this is a safe spot for them to go with friends. There are also lots of places for Mom and Dad to get a bite and more nearby if you wait.

This show needs to be a regular occurrence, if it isnt already. I felt like I was back in high school and coming of age all over again. Great venue.

My experience was meeting an old (and older) co-worker and his wife for a show. Specifically because his son was performing and my ex-coworker (from Jersey) wanted to grab a beer while he was in the City. I was in the area for some other business that didnt end until about 5:30 and the show was at 7, so I decided that with a Happy Hour special, Id just come in early. I was pleasantly surprised!

Love this place. Noon shows are really good, so many talented musicians.

I saw Boy and Bear there last night. They were really great. TWCL is a great venue to see a band live...and the food was very good for a quick bite to eat.

On November 24th we got married there! Upstairs ...the venue was wonderful and the staff were fantastic! Bridget was our coordinator and did a fabulous job and made our lives a lot easier. We have been getting rave reviews about the food which by the way, was so damn good. I cant say enough good things about World Cafe , they were totally accommodating and a pleasure to work with. To bad we only get married once but also a great place to have any kind of celebration.

Came here to see a show (which was fantastic Arthur Buck and surprisingly had one of the most amazing pieces of salmon with spaghetti squash that Ive ever had!!

I went here with a group of friends for a Jazz show and drinks. The staff was very friendly, on point with refills, etc. And for shows, the acoustics in this place were awesome! I definitely recommend this venue for dinner and a show if youre looking for a place that has live entertainment.

Food is great, drinks are strong & 2 live music venues. Upstairs is more cozy with tables & waitresses. Downstairs is more of a traditional music venue with a large stage & a bar. Downstairs can accommodate a thousand people roughly, if I had to guess.

We attended our first visit to Free at Noon with a great performance of the Trumpet Chics, and really enjoyed the venue. Mostly standing room only, but not a bad spot in the space to enjoy the performance. There was a bar to get drinks which we did not realize before arriving, but we were allowed to bring water inside. The volume near the end of the performance was somewhat too loud, as a few younger children were covering their ears.

We had standing only tickets, so I was a bit tired standing after a few hours. But the venue is great. Not too big, sound was perfect, and the Guinness was poured just right. Even if it was from a can.

Keller Williams hosted an event here on Monday and it was wonderful! The venue was perfect, the location was great and the staff was very nice. Thank you!#KeepingUpWithTheKerezsis

Been to World Cafe Live a few times and its a great venue to see your favorite Band/Artist, I been to both sections of the venue for shows The Lounge and the Music Hall downstair. The food at The Lounge was ok I order a burger cooked medium well and when I got it the burger was cooked well done instead, despise my food order experience I still recommend this venue for Live Music.

Happy hour had great deals. The music when we were there was exceptional. I look forward to going back. Although the prices without happy hour specials are steep. There food was great and the beer selection was decent.

I had never been to this venue before but came to see Lori McKenna with friends and we all had a great time. The tables were a little tight and the menu was typical cafe food,(burgers, wings, fritters) with decent service, but the real attraction was the music. There really wasnt a bad seat on the floor and both the sight lines and sound was excellent. Lori McKenna can really write a song! Overall, It was a great venue for an intimate night of music. Id definitely come again if another of my favorite artists was playing. Recommended.

A great music venue from a radio station (WXPN 88.5 Phila) that is doing great things for music. Drinks are okay, the venue is be it upstairs or downstairs!

It made me feel nostalgic being here for Cuban night. The music and atmosphere was so good and authentic (mojitos included) that I pictured myself as my mother when she would sit at a club, listening to them 1920s Cuban classics. Love this venue. Went to see Tyler Hilton, and while his music is great anywhere, he really seems to enjoy playing at World Cafe Live. The atmosphere is super chill and the people that tend to show up for these events really give off that “brotherly-love” vibe. I will for sure go back again and again. Also the wings are tasty if you are more interested in their food. They have a small selection but it seems carefully curated and everything I’ve tried has been delicious!

Great experience, maybe some vegan food could’ve made it better but otherwise a great time, great music, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable

This is a nice little venue. Ive only been there the one time but it was a great experience! We were really close to the stage and the only trouble we had was figuring out how to get inside. I think we went through a back door, but it wasnt a problem.
