My son absolutely loves this ride. When you get the camel spitting water at you every turn he thinks it is great. We will always come back to Disney because it is magic. they also did a great job of making sure that the ride was clean during our Corona virus time. I felt social distance and comfortable. Thank you for opening up Disney and we appreciate your excellence with keeping us safe

Great ride for toddlers and parents alike! We took our 2.5 yr old girls on the ride and they enjoyed it. Not only do you ride in a Magic Carpet, but you also get to control whether your carpet goes up or down (at least if youre in the front row).

This is a great albeit simple Aladdin themed ride, the different controls for the front vs. back passenger(s) is a nice touch. And theres rumour of a spitting camel...

Adventure Land has a hidden gem perfect for kids and kids at heart, (right before the entrance to the Enchanted Tiki Room), are the flying Magic Carpets of Aladdin. This ride allows you to maneuver your flying carpet up and down and pretend you are gliding over Agrabah, or if you prefer the Magic Kingdom itself. This ride is the same concept as Dumbo and is an alternative to it, with a much shorter waiting time. You will know you are there when you spot Aladdins golden lamp resting on a pole or see the spitting camel. After you get off, you can visit the singing birds, or take the Jungle Cruise to the left of the spitting camel.

Its basically the old dumbo ride (which is at the opposite end of Magic Kingdom) but replace the elephant with a carpet.

A so so ride. Pretty much the same as the dumbo one. Nothing to do standing in line so expect the kids to walk around with parent 2 while you Waite for them to come back. Area is set up to look like the market in Aladin. Would recommend the dole pineapple ice cream drink sold next to the ride because it is so good.

The ride isnt that exciting but the little kids loved it and the wait time isnt at all long. Central to many other ride this is easily accessible. The ground in the area is set with jewels and shells that are nice to look at and around the ride are plaster camels spitting water occasionally so its fun to try to get a little wet. One of the few Dole Whip places is right in that area so a great place to stop.

Great ride for young kids, mine are 5 and 7 and they loved it. Very similar to the Dumbo ride. The magic carpet ride can be raised and lowered by holding the lever in the front seat. If you are at the right height you will get a little wet from the spitting camel. Lines were very short.

This isnt a fast ride, but you can really feel the dips when your child has control of the carpet and makes it go up and down repeatedly. Its a fun ride for really small kids and big Kids alike. My 8 year old and myself enjoyed it.

Review №50

My kids absolutely loved this ride. My seven year old daughter and my four year old son were smiling throughout the entire ride. My four year old is the daredevil and my seven year old is the timid one when it comes to rides, and they both enjoyed it. It is basically the Dumbo ride, but with Aladdin instead of Dumbo. Either way, the kids loved it.

Ro
Review №51

Only a short five minute wait. We went two times. There are some good shopping opportunities around.

Ch
Review №52

I wont bother talking about its unoriginality, because my kids love it, and the wait-times are usually low. However, this is for good reason. This area of the park feels hotter than other areas. It may have to do with the building materials used in construction. The buildings are low enough to not create significant shade-areas, and the tree-shade is not adequate to compensate. There is also a span of waiting-line that goes past a high wall, and has nothing overhead to create shade, and creates the feeling of a solar-cooker. While standing here in the middle of the afternoon, I think I almost started hallucinating from the heat.It also created conflict between two of my three daughters, over who would be allowed to control the elevation of our flying carpet, because only the front row riders have access to the control stick.

Like a previous poster said, it is about the same as the Dumbo ride, but for little kids, its completely different! My kids, aged 1 and 3, at the time enjoyed it immensely and loved being high up in the air. We didnt wait long either and loved seeing everything around us, decor wise.

Review №66

This ride is a great alternate to the Dumbo ride -- usually the line is much shorter than the Dumbo ride. This ride has the addition of a spitting camel, which my children always try to get us wet from its spitting at us.Its really cool that there are jewels in the cement when you are walking through the line waiting to get on the ride.

A nice ride based on Aladdin where you control the height of your flying carpet. Good for small children.

Kindof short ride, but nice for little kids if you have them. Pass this up if youve ridden any of the other spinning rides in the park. They are all the same.

This outdoor ride is a wonderful experience for both adults and kids alike. The merry-go-round, up down effect may make you a bit nauseous so avoid any liquids before the ride or your kids may get sick on it.

Very nicely designed, feel of middle of ancient Arabia. Ride is simple but surrounding made a different kind of feel

B

A ride more geared towards younger kids...The hydraulic actuator to go up and down really lags and takes a long time to respond. The ride had a wait time of 25 minutes and the ride itself seemed pretty short in duration, in my opinion.

Its a classic ride at Disney thats like Dumbo but may be better becuase it can seat FOUR not two and it goes higher.

Ky

Its good for the young ones, but its not really a good experience. Every forgets about this ride because its not as good as the Dumbo ride. Its only worth it if its a short line

Jo
Review №94

A ride for the kids. Similar to the Astro Spin and Dumbo in Magic Kingdom or the Triceratop Spin in Animal Kingdom. Control in the front to make the magic carpet go up and down, control in the back tips the car forward and backward. Well designed, otherwise boring ride for thrill-seekers. Get a good view of Adventureland. Nice little touch is one of the camels, its facing the ride and it squires a stream of water from the mouth at riders.

Quite fun, decent views of adventure land from the top, but I wouldnt queue for long. Fortunately I dont think it often gets that busy.

Identical to the Dumbo ride (except in aesthetics). It goes around, carpet can go up and down, and it goes over a small canal of water. Good for the family, may be boring for adventurous adults.

Ge
Review №99

I went on this ride once with my dad on my 2nd trip to Magic Kingdom. Its a good ride for many children who like typical rides, but whats lacking in this ride is originality. Its basically another spinner like Dumbo, except a little faster, higher, less magical, and themed on Aladdins Magic Carpets.Like other tame rides, this is a mild ride with very low quality on thrill and scare, as a 1/10, and its basically common for many outdoor flying rides, as Disney wants to keep everyone & everything safe, unlike parks like Six Flags or Ferarri Park in Abu Dhabi UAE.Also common in state fairs or carnivals. The spitting camel doesnt help either or refresh you enough on a hot day.Its the Magic carpets of Aladdin, but this ride isnt so magical tbh.And this ride is in Adventureland, but its not vert adventurous, only good for little kiddos.Aladdin is a classic movie, but this ride is so unoriginal. What a huge waste of space in Adventureland, another Dumbo spinner?Anyway, good ride for children other than the plagiarism of Dumbo.

Meh,,, its good for the kids but the Disney in me says its nothing but a carnival ridge by zamperla plopped into the park. Disney can do better.
