After spending all day on your feet, this is really a nice way to take a load off. There is typically a line and the carousel is surrounded by strollers, but dont let that deter you. Just seeing the smile on your kids face as they go around and around on the carousel is delightful.
This truly is the best carousel of them all every horse is handpainted and polished for every little prince princess or king or queenRiding one of these noble steeds will make you feel like royalty
I absolutely love this carousel. But I think I especially love it at night! It truly is a magical experience seeing all the Edison light bulbs and the castle lit up at night that really bring back the best of memories!
This is just a beautiful authentic carousel. After the fireworks were over we headed to Fantasy Land and found ourselves in front of this ride with no line so we hopped aboard. It brings out the kid in everyone. Its great for all ages, especially if there is no line. If you rode it once you can probably skip it but I love its old fashioned feel. There may be more exciting rides to go on at Disney but my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our two minute ride.
I love Carrousels. I ride them all, every one I can find. This one had the standard fair and didnt go out of the ordinary to be extremely unique (like the 2 story one in Galveston, or the Dr. Suess one at Universal) - but it was beautiful! The horses were painted with perfection, the ride was smooth, the seat belts clean, and everything was as magical as you could expect it to be.You could add more of these to the parks, make them themed. Do a Star Wars one! :)
Definitely a fun ride and great the parents can join too, but its a bit quick. Its not terrible but it leaves you feeling a little wanting. The line is tricky to sort out the first time, as it didnt seem really clearly marked, but also not a big deal. Id recommend it but wouldnt go out of my way.
A good and big carousel with a great view of the castle and not that long queues. Ace
Hint: if you are waiting for other rides like the seven dwarves mine train fast pass this is a great place to hang out
So fun with my little one.
The best. Wish it was a bit longer ride. Originally from a demolished amusement park in NJ....
Neat carousel, a little too fast for the little ones I learned. I took a 2 year old and she was not happy.
My son really enjoyed this ride! There was a short wait and the attraction worked as intended. Horses were well kept. Fun times and long lasting memories made.
I love the carousel its fun its an awesome ride I love this ride ever since I was a child ️
Great photo location. A true classic
Merry go round - or carousel how ever you call it, one of the many must go. Who truly can hate a carousel.
My kids (2 and 3) loved this ride and wanted to go again and again. Plenty of stroller parking nearby helped also. Easy to access and great location for other rides in Magic Kingdom.
Granddaughter loved this area of the park
What we love most about this ride is the efficiency and quickness of being able to get on the ride. When you have little ones who dont want to stand in line any more, this is a good in between place to take them for a quick ride. We love it!
A classic carousel from the early 1900s! It is kept in great condition by the Disney team. Nothing super exciting about the ride but a great place to relax in the hustle of the day at the busiest theme park in the world.
Wheee! Who doesnt love a carousel? Round and round you go until Mickey says youre through. Its a fun ride.
So even when the line is just wrapped and wrapped around the carousel, dont worry about the wait time. The line zooms by since there are like 60 or so horses on it. The quality of the carousel is nice and the kids always seem to like it. The only thing you need to worry about is satisfying the kids with what color of horse to pick from.
Grandchildren loved 3
Just a classic carousel in the heart of Magic Kingdom.
One of my favorite rides at Disney. Brings back great memories. Love to ride different horses each time.
Who doesnt love a carousel? This one is beautifully decorated. The line, if you go early, isnt too long and its one of the staples of the park. Its a definite must-see while here!
I went on the merry go round 6 times in my life.5 times on the 1st Magic Kingdom time, and 1x on the 2nd time at MK.I know its just a merry go round, and u go right round like a record. But its certainly a good ride, and its pretty big for a merry go round, despite using the traditional design, with horses that go up and down while u spin full circle. As u know, when u spin right round like a record, u feel centrifugal forces.Which is another thing that makes merry-go-rounds fun.The Boring Factor: This ride is just going around and not on a journey from one place to another.Which is why Im giving this ride a 2 out of 5.The ride has a scare level of 1/10.Which is very mild.No wonder its still there, meaning its a success.
Fairly standard carousel. Ride it to say you have but dont expect anything super special.
They were very accommodating with my disabilities, but i did not have to sit on my scooter on the ride. They were great. Thank ypu
Its a carousel. It is a lavishly decorated carousel, so take it at that. Also features the Sword in the Stone next to it, so EVERYONE will want a picture trying to get it out. 5 stars is you like carousels, fewer if you are just okay with them.
We spent more time sitting on the ride than actually going round!!
They dont make carousels like this any more, dont believe me read the plaque this carousel was originally steam powered and in another park. This is a piece of history, not just a Disney ride.
Good ride and medium wait times in off seasons. Short but needs to be due to popularity
Cool to see and take photos of but Im not a big fan of those kind of rides
Fun for all ages. The staff were great with a family member who needed assistance getting on and off.
A beautiful, classic carousel, it is fun for all ages. The wait is usually short, but so is the ride.
Great location to watch fireworks. A classic, timeless attraction.
A traditional ride and centerpiece of fantasyland (well besides the castle of course).
Hands down my little girls favorite ride in the whole place!
Certainly makes you feel like a young kid racing to get to the horse you want!
The carrousel spin so fast that it will make u dizzy.
Magical! The kids loved it. Well organised.
Even if youre not a huge fan, enjoying the carousel in front of Cinderellas castle is great fun - yes, even for adults!
Daughters fav. Found out Cinderella horse is special. She got to ride it. Happy girl.
Beautiful 100+ year old carousel. Never a long wait and always fun.
Great for kids, a great classic Disney carousel.
Its your ordinary carousel, but it adds to the Disney magic. It also looks really pretty at night
Huge carousel. Usually not much wait and every horse goes up and down!
It spins a little too fast.
Really good for kids. Short wait time
My girls Love the horsey ride. Who doesnt want to go around and around at MK!
A staple of every Disney visit.
My granddaughters and I loved it!
Its not that special, its a freaking carousel.
Good carousel, goes in circles. Short wait.
Neat and fun.
Great for 3 year olds.
Great for kids and great photo opportunity
Great part of the Magic Kingdom.
The kids want to stop here every time we visit magic kingdom. An all-time favorite.

My girls first ride at Magic Kingdom! Tall horses and a short ride, but smiles all around!
It is a large carrousel. It seems my kids want to ride every time we pass it.
Lovely memories
Nice experience for kids

Always a must for every trip to the Magic Kingdom
